Noah’s campsite was amazing - easy to access, private and just and all round great campsite. We parked a 38ft RV and also had a tent - there’s plenty of room! The campsite has a picnic table, fire pit and wood. It also has a cute little stream off to one side. The location was easy to find and Noah was always available for any questions. Would recommend!

I had such a wonderful time staying here with my dog. We explored the 100 acres with joy and watched a beautiful sunset over hills of corn. The space felt very special and Noah was a great host. The directions he provided were simple and accurate. He was very accommodating and very communicative. I can’t wait to come back here, stay longer and bring friends! Again, can’t recommend this place enough.

Noah was very kind and welcoming. The site was private and simple. We enjoyed the nearby Pike Lake; the dog beach there was a huge plus. Overall our stay was very enjoyable, and I would stay there again.

Some upgrades are available - you can buy firewood and get a catered lunch! The firewood was generous and covered in a wheelbarrow to protect from the rain. The catered lunch is through a friend of the host’s family and I would highly recommend it. It was such a treat - tablecloth, flowers, sandwiches, salad, fruit, veggie chips, and s’mores supplies all delivered to the site at the time I requested. Saved a lot of room in the cooler. Before renting I was concerned about privacy so I rented sites 1 & 3. We have dogs and strangers making noise nearby would not be relaxing for us or our dogs. However, after seeing the sites I don’t think that was necessary (unless a rowdy crew rents another site). There is plenty of privacy between those 2 sites. Site 1 was large, surrounded by trees, shady and near the creek. Site 3 is smaller but has great open sky and farm views - will be pretty sunny throughout the day so bring shade. I didn’t clearly identify site 2 while there, but looking at the map I think you would need to park and then walk past site 1 to the end of the tractor path. If it is the spot I think, it is bordered by a corn field and trees. The land there was a bit sloped. Bring your hiking boots to explore the 100 acre property as there is thick underbrush unless walking on the roads. Deer roam through the land over night. One took such a long, noisy bath in the creek next to our tent that I thought he was stuck. Great host, great property, I would stay again.

Site 3 - the width of the site is about the size of a 2 lane road Site 3 at the end of a field Creek (technically the neighbor’s side of the property). I didn’t trespass but those 3 did. The creek is smaller and shallow on the host’s side of the road. Catered lunch

This place was peaceful and secluded. We enjoyed the crickets at night and the fact that is was close amenities but felt far away. We would 100% stay here again. Noah was communicative and nice

We contacted Noah not knowing exactly which site would work best for us, as we have a camper van, rather than carry in tent camping, and he recommended site #1. It turned out to be perfect, secluded, with plenty of room for our dogs to wander free without being totally “out there”. There appeared to be a good amount of hiking on-site, as long as you were ready to really bust out the machete, but we didn’t and started to look elsewhere for our hiking.
We decided to go to Pike Lake, but our first move was to stop at the Back to the Best General Store, where we met who we thought were the proprietors, but actually ended up being Noah and his wife, whose parents own the store. He suggested going to Holy Hill for the hiking, as well as the Ice Age Trail. Awesome choice!

We had already booked another night on a different weekend and are looking forward to returning! We had site three, which my Buick Encore had no trouble getting to even after a week of rain. Site 1 is the most accessible and the least private, but also the biggest by far. Behind it are some pretty trails and site two, which is intimate and also has a nice view. You could get a 4WD vehicle pretty close to site 2, but not right up to it, and it would be better for hammocking than tenting. I was happy we had site 3 in this trip! It really does have a view. The only downside is that on the road nearby there are these bumps to signal to cars they’re approaching a stop sign and the sound carried. Overall though, the drive here from Chicago got super beautiful once we passed Milwaukee and it’s worth a trip.

Nice flat spot with a view at site 3!

We could not believe how amazing Legacy Creek was. We have been to camp sites all over the US and mostly in state parks but never had we had such a private, remote and beautiful setting as this. Who knew that you could be 30 minutes outside of Milwaukee and feel like you could have been in the middle of nowhere. The site had a picnic table, awesome fire pit and the owners deliver wood to the site as well as offer packed lunch's. We pulled our rRV van directly up to the site as well as had 2 tents. The surroundings were truly remarkable. Corn fields and untouched land for as far the eye could see. Our expectations were blown way and I cannot say enough about it. Noah was super responsive and helpful with all my questions before we arrived. We stayed at site #3 but the other 2 sites were equally as awesome and would have been thrilled to stay at any of the 3. Even though we were remote and isolated from the world we never felt unsafe because you were right off a main road. The perfect camping experience if you are looking for an accessible site that is private and makes you feel like you are in your own world.
