You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or in the open field area. In the meadow you will find paths that you can stroll through throughout the property where you can you bird watch and observe Wisconsin's natural prairie and vegetation. The open field area provides more room whether it's to throw a frisbee, bask in the sun or play some competitive yard games with your friends. Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars. Places to see near Lisa M.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Lisa has cultivated a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for campers passing in the area. There's a firepit that has a hanging cooking grate to whip up something delicious. There's also another firepit in a garden that is nice to lounge in. There are a few varieties of animals that are fun encounters. Really happy with the photos I captured of Kevin. Camp here to be in the midst of an out of the ordinary being. I will be camping and recommending to friends at this location as long as Lisa is in operation. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space.
Spacious, private, and fun
Lisa's place was great! She's got lots of space and fun animals. The grass was great to pitch a tent on. Didn't even need a sleeping pad.
There were two different fire pits, so enjoying some foil dinners and marshmallows was easy.
This was my first Hipcamp experience and I was happy to have gone here first. It might have set my expectations too high.
Lisa's property is the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful, relaxing and private place to camp! Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area or just hang out. Lisa is an excellent host and will undoubtedly make your stay comfortable.
Wonderful and peaceful
What an amazing place! We loved camping on Lisa's farm! It's close to town and everything to do in Door County, but also secluded and out in farm country. Lisa is so friendly and thought of everything to make our stay peaceful and enjoyable! Thank you, thank you!
The absolute best
I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience. Lisa is an amazing host. We have four young children, and she was incredibly generous with her time and attention. We loved every minute of talking to her, and I had to keep the kids from trying to take extra bathroom trips just to visit with her. They truly all look up to her now and are already asking us when we can go back. Lisa went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great and comfortable experience. The property is stunning with plenty of space to explore. The gardens, barns, fields, fire pits, etc. are all the perfect back drop for relaxing in nature. The location is convenient to all Door County offers if you are looking to get out and about. The was our first Hip Camp experience, and I can say 100% that we will go back to this property to camp in the future. We loved it!
