Beautiful camp on a farm.
Katie & Craig were excellent hosts! Camp site & surrounding area was beautiful. Their property included Private trails that we walked with our dog. We enjoyed a nice camp fire at night. Overall this camp site was welcoming, clean and well kept.
Huge countryside farm & great hosts
Katie and Craig are super welcoming and helpful hosts. Even though the campsites are evolving and we were just their 2nd guests, they were super accommodating to anything we asked or needed. Although this is more rustic camping in a farm like setting (no farm animals), we were able to fill our water tanks with their spigot along the barn and found a nice, level spot to park - creating a large, open site. There are dump station options for $10 about 15-20 minutes away at Burlington RV Superstore and the WI State Fair RV Park The property has miles of acreage and trails for great walks and hikes. While on property, we saw deer, opossum, and a flock of turkey vultures walking past our site. Outstanding starry skies due to the large, open fields and more remote location. Would highly recommend!
Great bargain, beautiful view
Wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked this site. The view of distant fields and sheer space between camp sites made this well with the reasonable price point. Minimal light pollution and sound made it a “relaxing” stay as the title suggests. Both the hosts were very friendly. The only disappointment was the hiking, which was not particularly long or dense. Overall well worth it.
