We had a very nice weekend on site. Clean, stocked bathroom, adequate care taken for the COVID situation, and plenty of firewood for their nice firepits. If you don't want to use a communal firepit, make sure you get ahold of your burner ring early or bring your own. When the site is full, there aren't quite enough for every section.
Will be coming back.
Perfect spot for hanging at camp for a couple nights. Kari and Bill were very accommodating and gave us a great tour of the property. Our site was large and well located. We brought our own fire pit as each site doesn't have its own, but there ended up being an available communal fire pit. Close to hiking and kayaking, but we really enjoyed just hanging at the site and playing lawn games.

One word. Amazing. Worked south of The Hill in the driftless area 26 years ago. Exactly how i remembered it. Less than a mile to the 400 trail. A few miles to the start of Elroy-Spata. A mile and a half to the Hillsboro trail spur. Bikers heaven. Kari and Bill couldnt be more accommodating. Our tent spot was at The Point. A perfect view of the labor day sunset, huge picnic table and large white pines and that sound and smell when the breeze blows through. The best price for firewood anywhere. Dont bring your own. We cant wait to come back.

This place was amazing. Kari met us & was so helpful in showing us around. The grounds are great, everything you need! Definitely recommend this campsite. Amazing hosts!!!
what a pleasant 1st hipcamp experience. Kari greeted warmly and provided very useful information about the site and the area.
We had a great experience at The Hill! Kari was an amazing host, very welcoming and helpful. The campsite was beautiful, large, and clean. We would definitely camp there again in the future!

This was a great place to camp. Plenty of things to do in the area. The sites were big and spread out. Kari was very friendly and loved talking about the property. She met me when I arrived and showed me around the campground. I will definitely be going back next year.
