Description

This thickly wooded campground is a lovely habitat for all kinds of plant and animal life. There are miles of trails for hikers and horseback riders, plus you are minutes from Wisconsin’s longest cave system. Equestrian campers are well taken care of at Highland Ridge—you’ve got your own campground loop, a manure pit, and a special trail that’s meant for hoofin’ it. Cool off in the reservoir after every sweaty ride, or cast a line into the depths of the pool in hopes of snagging dinner. Highland Ridge Campground is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and chances are it will be on your list of favorites after a single visit.
