Peaceful, pastoral, and pretty!
My partner and I had a great two-night stay at Flutterby Farm over Memorial Day weekend. Our creekside site at Beaver Creek was beautiful—nestled in a peaceful valley with lots of wildlife, including birds, butterflies, and fish.
The sites are fairly close together, and ours lacked much tree cover, so privacy was limited. Most campers were families with young kids, so we’d likely return on a quieter weekend for a more secluded experience. Some sites further back or at Frond seemed more private.
Amenities were simple but nice—the outhouse was clean, and the barn with sheep and other animals was a fun touch. We also enjoyed hiking to Rainbow Ridge (though it’s a bit overgrown—wear long pants).
Overall, it was a relaxing nature escape, and we’d definitely consider coming back.
