Great spot and great host!
We had a great stay at this property. Scott was exceptionally hospitable and went out of his way to ensure our comfort by setting up a canopy tent to provide some much needed shade. His kids even delivered a handful of books for the kids in our group. The property was beautiful and quiet. The only drawback is the lack of shade during the day. The tent helped get us through the afternoon heat, but if it is a hot, sunny day, be prepared to bake in the sun.
Absolutely breathtaking views
This was an amazing camping experience, and it's a lot different than staying at a state park! Scott's land is absolutely breathtaking-and you even get to explore a little bit. It was so cool at night, you see fireflies, hear crickets, and we even heard an owl! The bugs were a little annoying, but you'll get them anywhere. Not much for shade, but he sets you up with an outdoor tent thing, a table and some chairs. I would highly recommend this spot! It doesn't hurt that they also have some great wine 20 yards away!
Scott was a personable, energetic host. And he was very organized with his amenities and his recommendations of things to do. I’d recommend his campsite and also a visit to one of his weekend wine tastings.
We enjoyed our stay! It’s a beautiful location and close enough to the twin cities area for an easy weekend jaunt. Scott was personable and accommodating. We pulled our 20’ camper and were able to set up in the gravel parking area with a view toward the vines. We played in the fields and took a few long walks on the quite road. Will definitely consider another visit!
Delightful weekend at the winery. Hosts (and their children) were friendly, helpful and just good people. Site #2 sits right behind the Winery building and still the big open night sky is in full view. Lots of people coming and going with the winery open. 65 Vines is GOOD wine. Would love to return with our VIstabule camper especially during fall colors. Thank you.
Scott is a fantastic host, and the site was just perfect for us. We had site 1, so a little away from the tasting room- it felt private and quiet, even during the tasting room hours. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a quiet spot.
We picked up our brand new trailer and was trying to figure out where to stay the first night. A lot of camp sites was close for the season, and we were very happy to find this place.
Host was very helpful and fast to respond on our messages.
Place was very clean, and extremely beautiful!
We defiantly will stay again
