We set our tent up by the flowing creek, but there are many different places to choose from. A huge space to explore!

Definitely an interesting place, but Bill was so welcoming. A very free spirit. It was raining pretty hard when we showed up, so Bill offered to let us stay in his converted bus. That was a fun surprise! Would have loved to be able to camp by the creek if the rain would have let up though.

This place was awesome, and Bill and his step-daughter (sorry I didn’t catch your name) were so accommodating!

Bill, the camp host was great and very accommodating. It was sprinkling when we arrived, Bill offered us the converted bus as well. Being our first night on the road we gladly accepted. I would have liked to explore the land a little more but we ended up arriving later than we had planned. The land is situated in a beautiful, lush green valley with a little creek running nearby. In the morning Bill offered us organic coffee which was delicious. He checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and to offer some conversation about the land. Very nice guy, I'm glad we had the pleasure of meeting him and his family.

Our host Bill came out of his home upon arrival and he's was a pleasure to meet and talk with. Super quiet property except when a very occasional vehicle/buggy would pass by. The site is not a traditional camping venue...you have use of the outhouse, a very short walk to one of the natural springs, and your choice of where you want to set up for your stay. You are a guest on the 200 acre property and share it with the hosts, that's it. A fire ring was offered... We had a small vw bus we stayed in...had all we needed less the outhouse and spring water for cleaning. Beautiful land and great conversation...very happy to get to know Bill a little. We will stay again if we can get up that way again. Wildcat mountain is 15 min away...

My partner and I had such a wonderful weekend staying on Bill's beaver haven land. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience. The land is wild and we chose a remote camping spot that required a bit of a through hike to get to. We really felt like we were out in the wilderness which we enjoyed. Bill is a very friendly, caring, and helpful host. I learned so much from him about the land from only three days there. I can't wait to go back!
