We had a wonderful time glamping in the Love Shack! The weather was hot, then rainy most of the weekend unfortunately so we didn’t get to spend as much time at the property as we wanted to. It was great to be 15 min from the Dells, so we took advantage of that more than anticipated. The Love Shack has A/C which was amazing. The setting is peaceful, and we loved getting to hang out with the goats - shoutout to George. Sheri and Kevin were fantastic hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and offering help. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great hosts and a bit of country charm, this place is definitely worth considering!

My girlfriends and I had a great time! Kevin and Sheri were so friendly. The love shack was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our dogs loved running around the property. Nice get away from the dells which is only a 15 minute drive.

Amazing experience!! Sheri and Kevin were wonderful hosts, they checked in and made sure we had what we needed and answered any questions we had. They have pretty much everything you could think of related to camping activities and necessities. From board games to a fire tripod for cooking to firewood and lawn chairs. Really took the stress out of the experience for us. Their goats are so cute and friendly too! We really enjoyed the little hot tub and how cozy the cabin is. The location is great, it feels very private and secluded but it’s only about 10-15 minutes from the main area of the Dells and a Walmart. Sheri made sure to let us know that they were flexible with check out times, and they were overall very accommodating hosts! Would happily come stay here again!

Man we had a great time! Our trip was slightly different from most of the reviews, we had a fairly packed itinerary family vacation and used bear hill as our home base, we were out and about most of the time and *even* still we loved the hospitality and ended up wishing we had planned down time to hang out. Extremely nice people when we did manage to find some time to talk. They were also wonderful at just giving us our space and making the whole thing feel very private and safe while still being accessible (via phone) if we needed anything.
*EVERYTHING* IS PROVIDED, from sheets/comforters, soap, dishes and cookware, to bug spray, hell they even had toys and glow sticks for our kiddo. Honestly we over packed quite a bit as a precaution but genuinely you could bring only clothes and food and be set, they went out of their way to provide all the supplies and conveniences.
15m drive to the dells, and as a bonus you get to turn north on highway 12/I-90alt and immediately leave the traffic behind 🤌 Don't trust Google maps for the address, follow their instructions.

Love Shack
We love it here and now make it an annual trip. Kevin and Sherry are wonderful hosts - always very accommodating.
A highlight is that since the property is fully fenced, our dog is free to roam without fear of her running off. Also, the addition of the very cute goats is a plus. Highly recommend.

I couldn't have asked for a better first-time Hipcamp experience! Sheri and Kevin were so friendly and welcoming, the cabin was very comfortable, and I had a great time. Kevin and Sheri were also awesome with my dog, and he had the time of his life running around in the yard, playing, and chasing squirrels. There are also goats to hang out with, and they're so cute and social. It was an awesome weekend with even better hosts, I will definitely be back in the future!

We absolutely had the best time at Bear Hill! Kevin and Sherri were the sweetest hosts. They were so accommodating and down to earth. The property was peaceful and serene. We will definitely be visiting Bear Hill again!

my wife and i spent 2 nights in the love shack. we brought 2 dogs. The cabin was lovely, it had plates and cups and a full fridge/freezer. Inflatable hot tub was awesome. There was plenty of yard games, and a propane grill. There's a charcoal smoker too but we didn't bring charcoal. The whole property is fenced in so our dogs got to run around without worry. bathroom is a little cramped, but it was really nice to be able to take showers at all. kevin and sheri were fantastic hosts and we're absolutely going to try to stay here whenever we're in the dells area. 100% a hidden gem and i hope posting this review doesn't make it wildly popular. Next time we stay here, i gotta remember to pack light. they provide so much stuff to make your stay awesome. paper towel, linens, firewood, advice on where to go, plenty of clean towels, power strips/outlets everywhere.
Truly a fantastic little spot. stay here and you'll have a good time.

What a wonderful weekend we had! The “love shack” is homey, comfortable and surprisingly bug-free. Our dog had a BALL running around the fenced-in yard and we felt very comfortable letting her loose. The hosts were so welcoming and we enjoyed every moment of our time here. Will come back for sure!

Over the 4th of July weekend, we were delighted to stay in the camper on the property and had an absolute blast! The camper was immaculate, and the air conditioning and fridge worked perfectly to keep both our food and us cool. Coming from a background of tent camping, this felt like a luxurious experience, especially with the convenience of having our own bathroom and shower. Despite some rain, the owner had thoughtfully constructed a lovely pavilion to enjoy the outdoors while staying dry. Sheri and Kevin were exceptional hosts, providing outstanding hospitality. We are eagerly looking forward to visiting our new friends again in the future!

LuLu's at Bear Hill
We had a lovely time. Kevin and Sherry were so nice. We stayed in the Laredo camper and it had everything you needed - a/c, mini fans, cooking equipment, fridge, etc! Good directions.
Outside had nice space too! Loved the covered space - so much shade on a hot day!
Great location.
Our dog enjoyed the freedom! They have dogs but kept them enclosed for our rescue dog’s benefit.

Love Shack
We loved staying at the “cabin” with our kids and our two dogs. Our dogs had the time of their lives running around the 3 acres of fenced in yard and looking for moles. We had a great time too. The cabin is nothing fancy but has everything you need. When you add the hot tub, yard games, grill and the proximity to the Wisconsin River, a “secret” swimming hole, Rock Arbor State Park, the proximity to Wisconsin Dells and everything that has to offer: you cannot go wrong!

If you like to be close to activites but away from the crowds this place is perfect! We absolutely loved it there! The cabin had everything we needed. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Kevin even shared some of his treasured hiking and swimming spots with us. The hot tub was an added bonus for us!! 10/10 recommend

This was our second time staying at this property and we Love it! Sherri and Kevin are the nicest hosts you will ever meet! My BF and I stay in the "Love Shack", my daughter and her BF stay in the Laredo trailer, and my brothers pitched their tents. Great wood structure/canopy with picnic tables, chairs, grill, long counter with electrical hookups is nice for sun/rain protection. Nice firepit. And we Loved the new inflatable hot tub! Can't wait for our next visit!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Bear Hill while in town for an an annual family reunion in the Dells. I stayed in the Laredo 5th wheel. It was clean and very well stocked with anything you could need (bedding, towels, pots/pans). The pillow top bed was soft and comfy and there’s extra blankets in a cupboard. The TV receives local channels and they’re crystal clear, and there’s a dvd player as well. My mother stayed in the larger park model trailer on the property and other family members were able to pitch tents in the back. It’s nice to have room for everyone. There is a large open shelter area with tables/chairs/grill which works great for getting out of the heat or rain. There’s a large fire pit with plenty of wood. They have a cute little outhouse for the tent campers that is kept very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, which will seat 2 comfortably and probably up to 4 if you really want to cram in. Sometimes the cell phone signal gets a bit spotty - takes a while for screens to load, but you’ll get there eventually. GPS can be a bit hit or miss for finding this place, so do yourself a favor and review the directions thoroughly before setting out. :) Kevin and Sheri are very laid back and super helpful with anything you may need. Haven’t had a chance yet to take Kevin up on a boat ride - maybe next year! Looking forward to going back!

Bear Hill was the perfect place for us to spend our weekend! Kevin and Sherri were amazing hosts that went above and beyond. Our dog loved running around the fenced in property and the place had all the amenities that we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This was our second stay at Bear Hill. Again, we had a great time. We love that our dog can roam free. Our hosts were gracious, helpful, and accommodating. The cabin was very well equipped. We will be back again next year!

Kevin and Sheri were amazing hosts! We had such a great time letting our two dogs run wild, grilling out, and enjoying a bonfire under the stars. The location is great- close to hiking, restaurants, the Dells, and more. We will definetly be back!
