This campsite is only a few miles from Beech Fork State Park which has hiking, biking, shooting range, lake, and many other things.
The property it’s self has a half acre pond for anyone who wants to fish. We ask that you catch and release for the time being. The pond is loaded with bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, etc. There is easy access to the pond and we mow/weed eat around the pond to allow for better access.
Property also has a big shelter with a stone fire place. You can relax, and/or use this space to eat lunch on the table we provide and/or enjoy a nice fire. The property also has a stream running behind the trailer that is fresh mountain water.
We have seen deer, birds, squirrels, turkey, ducks, blue herons, bald eagles, hawks etc. on the property.
This is a great place to get away while still being close to a paved road and a state park.
