Great Host, Great Lawn!
Belinda is very nice and accommodating and she allowed us to set up camp anywhere within reason on her yard.

WV + Mountain Mama = Felt like Home
Belinda was an excellent host and the setting was a real taste of rural West Virginia. The creek and drive near the house were beautiful and a nice summer float was the perfect way to beat the heat. I will say the yard was not as spacious as we expected, especially with another group of campers there at the same time, but the provided firewood, water, and use of Belinda's yard furniture was lovely. Make sure you see the epic toll bridge and ask Belinda about it while you pet her dog Beau.

A nice escape from the city
Belinda was a lovely host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The only downsides are that her yard is relatively small so we were very close to other campers for the night and there is a bit of an incline, so it’s a little hard to find a flat place to pitch the tent. That being said, I would stay there again. The proximity to hiking is great and Belinda was a great host.

A superb host in a gorgeous locale!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The biggest perks were the location and our host’s extensive knowledge about the area and it’s history. We were very close the Potomac River (w a short drive to the Old Town Toll Bridge) and even took a quick swim in the water there. We went running along the C&O canal (also a few minute drive to the Old Town entrance), took a hike through the Paw Paw Tunnel (ask Belinda about it’s history), went for a beautiful drive into Berkeley Springs, and had a very interesting breakfast at Old Town School (a former high school turned local restaurant/town hangout). There weren’t really formal showers or bathrooms here, but Belinda offered to let us use her home’s bathroom (though we, for the most part, preferred not to). An outdoor hose/sprinkler is available, and there are actually really nice toilets down at the Green Spring community park if you really wanted some privacy! The campsites are all very close to her house as the yard isn’t too big (we were the only ones staying the night we went, but I believe several other groups could have been there). She does have roosters, a couple dogs (who were on a leash or in the house when we were present), some cats I believe, and a parrot who you can occasionally here from the yard. Maybe not as isolated as I had imagined, but having some a wonderful host made it all worth it as we felt a bit more welcomed to the area and all it had to offer.

Great city escape
Me and my girlfriend went for weekend and Belinda was an amazing house. We felt that we were staying with her grandma. She was very knowledgeable about the town and she Recommended a lot of great places to see. There’s a lot of sightseeing the town rivers, mountains, fresh made ice cream!
