We welcome campers of all kinds!
We began operating our 150 acre farm in 2011 and became the first Certified Naturally Grown Livestock farm in West Virginia in 2013. We raise 100% grass-fed beef, Western and Chinese medicinal herbs. Our family garden supplies more than half of our vegetables and our favorite berries, and our flock of chickens supply eggs and an early morning wake-up call for our campers! There are no GMO's, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides used on our farm.
Farm products are available for purchase on-site. Campers can choose to to have a farm to table meal cooked for them as an extra at checkout. We prepare most of our food from scratch using local produce, meat and bulk organic dry goods. We occasionally make yogurts, noodles, simple cheeses, and fermented foods.

Beautiful spot with great views of sky. Awesome
at sunrise and sunset. Some good outdoor adventures in the area.
The farm was so peaceful and quiet. I had expected there to be a lot going on at the farm around us but this was not the case. We were given a space on a farm road to the pastures with shade trees, a small grove with picnic table, fire ring, and small pond. It was so very pleasant. There was plenty of open space and fields to walk. We stayed two nights and spend our one full day there just enjoying the setting.
Idyllic, quiet and pretty!
As my first time actually camping, I had a great experience! I was a little bit worried I wasn’t going to be able to enjoy myself but it ended up being a wonderful weekend trip! We drove from Toledo, OH to here, making it a long drive but worth it in the end. I picked this place specifically because cows are my favorite animal (also kind of ironic since i’m a vegetarian staying on a beef farm!) and I wanted to be around them, I walked over to them multiple times a day just to go see them :). The area where her farm is is beautiful and I kept pointing out how pretty it looked every time we went off the campsite to the parks. The compostable toilet wasn’t bad and was surprisingly not smelly at all lol. The host, Jennifer was also very nice and welcoming! The only negative thing I would have to say is that there were other campers at the time when we went, and although we weren’t super close to them, we could still hear them talking and made me want to keep our voices lower. But not a big deal! The other campers were polite so that wasn’t an issue or anything :)
Jennifer and her family have a quiet, beautiful property that you can get back to nature on. The site comes with a picnic table and fire ring, and many spots you can pitch your tent on. You are in view of one other campsite, but it was not an issue for us- you are far enough away to not infringe on each other. They have a super clean composting toilet and potable water available. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!
Pond Place was a nice site to camp at for 2 nights. It's little more private and set back from the house than the other site. Jennie was a great host who was very flexible and worked with me when I was trying to modify my reservation and the HipCamp support was slow. The farm-to-table meal was delicious (best pulled pork I've ever tasted!).
Only down side was it seemed like we were intruding on the other campers every time the outhouse was used, since it's basically at the edge of the other site.
Got to the campsite after sundown (which is a no no) because we were driving in from chicago.
Briand Jennifer were kind enough to help us get situated in the dark.
Stars were very nice. The campsite itself is nice, clean and well maintained.
We only stayed overnight to catch some sleep before continuing west and was our first experience with Hipcamp. Great time!
We appreciated the beauty of the surroundings, the balance of privacy yet nearness to the main house and the one other canpsite, the hands-off approach of the hosts, the very clean potty, the quietness of the campers at the other site, the buckets to carry the bundles of wood we purchased in advance, the cleanliness and upkeep of the sites themselves, the pretty walks around the farm, the sound of the family playing frisbee together in the morning, the fire ring, the huge picnic table, the cute little foot bridge that connects the two campsites, and the generous check-in/check-out times. We had a great trip!
Great site. A bit close to the house and other site but lots of trees and quiet made it feel secluded. Wonderful host that was extremely helpful and also left us alone to do our thing. Absolutely would stay here again. Beautiful property and surroundings.
