The James Cabin is nestled in a mixed pine and deciduous forest at Base Camp. The backyard is a small bluff, overlooking the South Fork of the Potomac River. Stargaze the Milky Way at night and sleep soundly to the voice of the Potomac River. Mountaintop offers superb stargazing, swimming, fishing, hiking, strenuous mountain biking, camping, serenity, peace, and connective nature immersion. Perfect retreat for writers, artists, musicians, contemplatives, and small families. This is a rustic cabin without electricity, running water, or toilet. Nearby outhouse is available.  If group camping with friends in MountainTop Cabin, an electric cord can be run to enjoy a small refrigerator, lamp, fan, and small space heater if needed.  Enjoy the morning sun on the small front porch.
