Looking for shady solitude and a place to get out into the forest fast? Look no further than Pocahontas Campground. This tiny first-come, first-served spot sits in a grove of gorgeous white pines, so you know there’s lots of room to hang up your hammock around the fire pit for an evening of brews and brats under the stars. The area around camp is chock full of the raddest hiking and biking trails in the forest, Two Lick Bottom Trail and the Laurel Creek Trail are just a skip away. If you feel like exploring beyond the forest, the towns of Bath and Marlington are a short drive for supplies and extra camp treats.
