We will attempt to provide it before check in for your review, but if that fails, you will be given it when you arrive.

We have an historic 1840s German Appalachian homestead on the property to explore (the Ananias Pitsenbarger Farm), plus we have a fishing pond for the kids. Amenities are shared by all campers and include: fire pit (FIREWOOD IS PROVIDED AND FREE), picnic pavilion, porches, access to bathrooms, showers, and fresh spring water.

Loafers Glory is a swell destination on beautiful acres in WV. The hosts Jeff and Teresa are sweet and extremely hospitable. When we arrived they had the cabin set up very nicely with anything we might need. Bedding, fresh water, and clean towels are provided, the cabin is solar powered so there is also some electricity. Jeff and Teresa are so great they even had a doggie treat for our pup Chaco! (AHHMAZING!!).

During our visit it was perfect weather for fishing or taking a hike up to their highest point on the farm.
Their grounds are wonderful to explore. We fished in their small pond and skipped rocks in their large pond. They have old farm homes and multiple hills with good views of the mountains. It's especially nice to go up to the highest point on the farm, and look out at the view. This cabin is a good place for artist or avid readers. I myself personally enjoyed reading on the porch of the cabin and listening to the sounds of birds.

Jeff and Teresa have a dog on site named Xena so this is a great place to bring a voice command trained pup to be off leash. I recommend having an afternoon talk on the back patio of the main cabin. We did so with Jeff & Teresa as well as other guest and had a delightful time. The patio view from the farm looking out is breath taking, you can see the history the farm holds.

My partners and I really enjoyed our time at this cabin and would love to return. After leaving the property make sure to check out the small town of Franklin WV!

The view from the highest point of the farm is breath taking. It's a romantic place to have a sip of wine. Or even propose to your partner! Jaz's first time fishing and she caught a great sized bass! The cabin of Loafer's Glory. Up on a hill with a good view of a lot of the acres.Down below the main cabin there are still remnants of the original farm owned by a German family in the 1800's

About Loafers Glory B&B July 2017

After a 7 hour Interstate drive, Loafer’s Glory B&B was just the tonic. Warmly greeted and oriented by hosts Teresa and Jeff Munn, we quickly embraced the sights, sounds, smells of their 137 acre field and woodland family homestead. A very warm afternoon brought a cooling gentle evening thundershower. If you like quiet, watch deer graze on rolling hillsides, and the opportunity to rediscover summer evenings in the mountains, we highly recommend you stay at Loafer’s Glory.

The cabin and surrounding property are magical. Use this as an opportunity to get rustic and back to the land. Comfy beds and solar powered electric are welcome amenities...but eat your meals outside on the picnic table, and sit out in one of the meadows with a bottle of wine. Once in a lifetime experience. Enjoy.

This place was unbelievably beautiful!!! It was everything we wanted and more!! We have already made plans and will soon make reservations to come back next year for longer!!! They are so very nice and the directions could not possibly have been more accurate. It was such a pleasure to meet them and I look forward to spending more time with them next year at this time!!! It’s an incredible place!!! And that doesn’t even explain the half of it!! The history they are working to preserve is another whole story!!! Can’t wait to go see more!!!

OMG! If you want peace and quiet and a great host this is it! Dark sky, wonderful views, and great sunsets are in store for you here. We only stayed 2 nights in the rustic cabin but are already planning a return visit for longer next year in the barn. Jeff and Teresa are absolutely wonderful hosts. You will not be disappointed. And if you care about history the farm is an amazing place to explore and Jeff and Teresa use the proceeds to restore and preserve the old Pitsenbarger farm. Wow!! Can't wait until 2019!

We had a great weekend at Loafers Glory and look forward to returning in the spring. Jeff and Teresa upgraded us from the rustic cabin to the barn cabin because of a cold front that was coming in. We were extremely grateful for that as it did get very cold. Despite the cold, we were still able to take a few hikes on the property that had incredible views. It was great to be able to hike on the property so that we didn't have to drive anywhere all weekend. The directions provided by the hosts were great. We lost cell reception as we were making our way up the mountain and we were glad to be disconnected all weekend. We are looking forward to returning in the spring with friends!

Loafer's glory is a beautiful cabin amongst the great wilderness. I was not expecting a luxurious experience, but what I got was much more than what I expected with immaculately well.magaed cabin, very well thought out design (particularly during the covid times) and a great and welcoming host who attended to all our needs. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who might want to visit it. Also, since the property is in the wilderness and away from light pollution, you can also go star gazing in an open field within the property.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Jeff and Teresa's cabin! We had high expectations based on the beautiful pictures and our experience far exceeded the expectations. We found beautiful nature, peace and quiet, amazing hospitality, great hikes and bathing in the river, and an authentic West Virginian atmosphere. In short- we loved it and will be back!
