My wife and I took our 3 kids (ages 13,10, and 5) to buffalo gap and we had a blast! We had the nook private campsite it was exactly as advertised. Secluded but so close to the cafe, activities, and the lake. Firewood is a couple steps away and Barbara was so sweet to greet us upon arrival. It is a great family environment with so much to do. They even ended up having a firework show and live music while we were there! Highly recommend Buffalo Gap and we will be back!

Great spot for our group! Close to the water for kids to play, close to bathrooms for a big group and such an overall nice retreat area. Parking isn't right near the site, so just keep that in mind as you pack that you do go up and down a hill to load/unload, but overall a great experience!

Tbis was a great site for our family gathering. The Nook is tucked away, but really right in the middle of everything! The beach, bathrooms and showers are just a short walk away. We will definitely be back!

We were looking for the perfect group campsite, and Buffalo Gap fit the bill! We were very happy with our accommodations.: privacy, cleanliness, beautiful campground. It was a little tricky to find, but maintenance guy Warren was happily helping us with whatever we need. We were looking for a relaxing Labor Day weekend, and Buffalo Gap was perfect. The lake was amazing with fresh spring fed water and boats to use at no extra cost. Everything was very clean at first, but, the only complaint is that the bathroom was neglected as the weekend went on. No toilet paper, no paper towels and no soap for at least the last day. Thankfully we brought our own. Other than that, it was a busy Labor Day, but we still felt for the most part to have our little slice of heaven. Highly recommend!!

Great camping site for a bigger group and families. Slightly tucked away between trees to give privacy and has a small lake with canoes that is free to use.
