Abrams creek was a perfect get away for me and my partner. The campsites were pretty much exactly as described and it was on relatively close distance to many wonderful parks to explore. The staff was helpful and friendly which made the space welcoming and safe. They were especially covid conscious which was a major plus for us. My only suggestion to others is to maybe book directly through their website rather than hipcamp. For some reason when i reserved through hipcamp the staff at check in never got a notice of it therefore it was confusing on both ends on whether my reservation went through or not. They handled it fine and was eventually resolved but next time I'll just book directly through them so that won't happen again. Definitely worth the stay and I'm sure I'll be back at abrams creek whenever I camp in West virginia

The scenery was absolutely stunning. We had a whole creek with tidepool and small waterfall literally right next to us. We woke up and just explored the creek for a while. There are plenty of indoor showers and two outdoor ones that also have hot water. I honestly wish I'd had a few more days to spend here.
Abrams Creek was a dream! The sites are spacious and stunning - well kept picnic tables and fire rings. The staff at was so kind and welcoming 🤗 Camping during COVID-19 times can a lil stressful, but the set up at Abram's Creek was perfect - literally, cleanest porta potties EVER. The forest was mossy, the creek was calming, and the leaves were so colorful - we just cannot wait to go back. Thank you Abram's Creek!!
Woodsy, river at hand, great staff.
Lovely place and the river setting was beautiful. Not every site is convenient to the lodge - there’s a good variety of cabin/tent options - something for everyone.
The forest floor was coated with soft pine needles so the tent set up comfortably and with the river sound we slept like babies.
We happened to get the last site available in a Saturday so it was probably the smallest of all the sites yet it turned out well for us. Will stay again.
Some tent sites are a little close but overall a nice experience. Site of camp is beautiful with some sweet private cabins and tent site.
Awesome! Probably the most remote campsite I've ever reserved. Exactly what I needed.
This was our favorite Hipcamp we’ve stayed at so far! Such a beautiful property and very welcoming hosts. It was the perfect way to get to enjoy fall foliage. We appreciated that the handout with suggestions of things to do included directions too.
