My house was named the Alpenhaus by the 1st property owners in 1964. It was originally built to be a ski cabin as it is 20 minutes from Snoqualmie pass. It is situated on a bend of the South Fork of the Snoqualmie river with a rustic gazebo, a shop/art studio and raised vegetable garden. The camping spaces in the yard have river and mountain views. Sleep with the music of river.

Zen river mountain paradise
We enjoyed staying at Ellen's piece of paradise. She had great home-baked goodies for us each day and everything was well thought out to give us a fantastic stay.

Zen river mountain paradise
This is a fantastic spot right on the river. There is swimming a short hike away and also plentiful blackberries ripe for picking! Our host Ellen was warm, friendly and had added lots of nice touches. Communication was great. Note there is now a second tent in the back yard and also the possibility of house guests, so not the most private site. Still, highly recommend!

Zen river mountain paradise
Ellen was the kindest and most considerate host ever. She had a spotless home and made sure everything was ready for us. Her art that she sells was beautiful to look at while we stayed there. The two tents were set up right by the river to lull you to sleep. She also has a covered gazebo to enjoy the peaceful view of the river. I cannot say enough to cover all of the peaceful beauty of the tents and the surroundings combined with Ellen’s warm inviting personality! She also has an Airbnb inside her beautiful home that she hosts guests in. Larry
