Same Beautiful location as Willow Creek Retreat only with power Hookup for RV

Willow Creek Retreat is a private country retreat situated on a 20 acre farmstead on the West Plains of Spokane County, conveniently located 5 minutes from the Spokane International Airport and I90 or SR 2. Willow Creek Retreat features plenty of trees and a year round creek, with wildflowers in abundance until early July. Boasting shaded camp sites near a babbling creek, bird songs and bird watching opportunities including blue heron, hawks, great horned owl, quail, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and the creek chock full of frogs for the kids to catch and beautiful horses watch graze and gallop through the fields. You can even book a horse experience as an extra including grooming, riding and feeding treats.

Our guests love that we are off leash pet friendly as long as the pups are obedient.  Enjoy 5 acres to roam with your energetic canine companions, we encourage it!

Each evening, listen to the coyotes howl, the owls hoot, crickets chirp, roosters crow, turkey gobble, and frogs croak (in spring/early summer) and the gentle ambling of the occasional short train that crosses the track on the nearby spur.

Willow Creek Retreat is a great place for a camp reunion, families wanting to get their kids into nature, fall bird hunting or a romantic country get away.

Other amenities provided for an additional fee include:

1964 Oasis "glamper" decorated in hand curated farm chic decor with matching vintage outdoor furniture and linens (See Glamping on the Farmstead listing)

Lead line pony rides for the little ones

Farm fresh eggs

Parking vehicles for additional nights if flying out of the airport

*Please note that this is in a pasture, no driveway to sites so it is a bit bumpy approaching campsites in a motor home.  Also note that we can accommodate any size RV, however a bumper pull trailer over 32 feet is going to have trouble getting through the entrance turn.  Skill is needed for larger pull behind rigs to enter.

Five stars because it was exactly as described, and therefore exactly what we expected. Lovely pasture, horses close enough to enjoy but far enough not to disturb. Campsite next to creek. Variety of birds. Train close by didn’t wake us. The drive across the pasture to the campsite was very bumpy, but doable in our 25 foot class C motor home. Would be muddy in rainy weather. Maneuvering might be difficult for long class A vehicles or long fifth wheels and trailers. Accommodating and helpful host was a one-person local information concierge. Will be back!

Thanks Phil! Yes your site would have been harder to navigate with a bigger rig, but we do have sites that will accommodate anything! We hosted a converted school bus last year. But I will say your spot was the best and that site will accommodate medium sized under 30' pull behind rigs. We just put in power this year so the bare ditch coverings would get muddy, we hope the grass will fill in within the next year or so, we are a work in progress. Glad you enjoyed your stay, we would love to have you back.

Wonderful experience, safe and happy environment with nature all around. Family of great horned owls delighted us, and the camp host’s dog Charlie was the highlight of our trip!

Late October was gorgeous with little wind and crisp air

The camp ground is young and for a quick get away it was very nice. More if a wide open area but the owners seem to be working dilegently to create a more secluded atmosphere for each camp spot. The distance between the each area would be at a guess 25 to 30 yrds apart which made it very pvt. We were able to hold conversations at a normal volume without hearing others or being heard. Very nice place and I only see it getting better with time. No water or sewer but maybe in time that will change too.

This was our first hipcamp site and we are all in. Rachel was lovely and so helpful. The sun shines. The lilacs bloomed. The horses ran across the fields. My dog was welcome to be off leash and my toddler explored. Was a magical day. We will be back.

Willow Creek is a little piece of hidden paradise! The property is beautiful, Rachel (host) is friendly and thoughtful and there are little bits of kindness located throughout the property. Picnic tables in perfect shaded spots, Adirondack chairs next to fire pits by peaceful creeks, and hammocks under willow trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will certainly be back! Thanks for the pony ride too (from my daughter)

A-MAZ-ING!!! Can’t say enough about the little slice of paradise Rachel has carved out for people. There are little touches of thoughtfulness and hospitality everywhere-from hammocks to chairs to firewood. The campground is beautiful and a perfect place to sit and relax, read a book, maybe go on a pony ride or a nap while listening to a babbling brook. Spots are well maintained and spacious. Rachel is an incredible host and we will be back to stay again!
