Cool tents, A Few Things to Note
We had a great time camping here with a group of friends, especially appreciating that there were pre-set tents available for folks flying in without gear. The location is super convenient—close to the Gorge and all the nearby events and activities, which made it an ideal home base. The host was very friendly and welcoming, which added a nice personal touch to the stay.
That said, there were a few things that could be improved. Free water was limited, which was tough in the heat. Nearly everything on-site came with an added fee, even basics like coffee, which felt a bit excessive. The campsites also didn’t have dedicated fire rings, and while fire bans are understandable, the lack of proper setup may have contributed to that restriction—even though local fire warnings were only at a moderate level. Lastly, there weren’t any trails or activities accessible directly from the site, so we had to drive for everything, which might have been our oversight for assuming otherwise.
Overall, it worked well for our needs, especially the convenience and community vibe, but a few small changes could make the experience even better.
