Hosts were wonderful and gave perfect directions! We were even surprised to see they supplied us with water, firewood, and even fresh eggs! I would absolutely recommend this place, we will be back :)
Tristan was a great host! He was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating.
We were welcomed with fresh farm eggs, fire wood and water. There was a clean outhouse on site. We had fun fishing in the pond for bass and my kids loved playing with their very friendly dog and visiting the ducks. The location was central on the island, so we were able to get to everything quickly. We had a great time on San Juan island and would recommend Two Pond campsite!
This was my first visit to the San Juan islands, and I'd definitely recommend visiting the two pond if you're looking to camp.
A short but scenic drive from the ferry, I quickly got an idea of what the island looks like. On arrival Tristian gave me a quick tour of the site and recommended a few places to check out. The campsite is surrounded by blackberries, and is well maintained with straw and woodchips providing for a more soft ground. They have a safe fire spot, delicious water from the well, plenty of seating, a clean toilet, and the vegetation makes for a natural wall for more privacy. In the morning I woke to a baby deer right outside my tent, eating away at the grass and berries. Such a great way to start the day.
I'd very much recommend staying here if you're on the island and looking for a no-fuss night!
