A fantastic host with a very unique property made this stay simply wonderful. One of the best parts is snaking your way up the gorgeous wooden staircase leading up to the treehouse! Joe's description is spot on so you know exactly what to expect - it's more of a tiny home amongst the trees vs a treehouse = meaning it's extremely well built and comfortable. Maybe too comfortable haha - when you wake in the morning surrounding by trees on all sides in that extremely comfy bed, you will understand! The kitchen area is small but perfect for the size of the unit. We cooked a full dinner using the mini burner and supplied utensils! Apparently, Joe is considering making this area into a little treehouse village, so I will be keeping my eye out!
The place was extremely cozy. Everything was provided for, and any question wondered was answered with their handy welcome info. This treehouse was so cool to walk up to, and we were in awe with how creative the place is. Stayed in January, place was well equipped for the cold. Definitely would recommend for a couple's getaway
Great place to escape reality.
We had a great time staying at Treehouse Place at Deer Ridge, the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. Very quiet, clean and calming, perfect sized for two people.
I would definitely come back.
A magical stay in the forest
Our stay at the Treehouse was magical. From the small and cozy home to the bed resting in the tops of trees, illuminated with twinkle lights- an absolutely incredible experience. The host, Joe, was so attentive to ensuring all guests have a superb experience. I highly recommend staying at this magical abode.
Although the house was relatively well kept up, I really felt misled. It is not private as the ad leads one to believe. The owners home (also rented out as an air bnb) is right in front of you about 200 feet away - that’s what you see when you walk out the front door of the tree house (and what you hear if the guests there are loud - there was guests renting the house for a 21st birthday while we were in the treehouse. Enough said). The bath mat, windowsills, and the area underneath the bed looked like they had not been cleaned since the place was built which was kind of gross. My child dropped her sippy cup off the bed and it rolled underneath - when I pulled it out it had hair and dead bugs on it.
The property could be great but it comes up short. The gazebo on site is missing a railing on one side (the side right next to a giant steep hill). The fire pit is unfinished and has no seating. A lot appears unfinished or done on the cheap.
Best bath ever!
This place is completely magical. As soon as I got there I lit the fire and took a very long bath. All I ever want is a good, clean, cozy bath and treehouse place is the best one I've ever had. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!
What a dream!
This place is a dream!! from the moment you reach the string light lit steps. It is a wonderful place to escape a relax :) the bed is comfortable, the place has everything you need, Alexa changes the lights for you!
Plus, Joe is so quick to respond and answer any questions. I was thoroughly impressed with his hospitality and crazy fast response times.
Would book again! 100%
