A private waterfront cabin!
This was such a great spot to get away from the City. The property sits right on the water and has full views of the bay. It's an active oyster farm and they sell to lots of popular restaurants in Seattle so ask ahead about purchasing some amazing oysters from Kevin. Really looking forward to coming back in summer!
Kevin’s place exceeded our expectations! Swimming, relaxing and getting time in the cabin was a true treat. Kevin was unbelievably helpful, giving us support on grilling and hot tubbing!!! He was so welcoming and made our stay just so thoughtful and great. Would love to come back!
Magical weekend in treasure cove!
I cannot say enough positive things about Kevin and Emerald Acres. My girlfriend and I stayed there for three nights, and were welcomed and treated with fantastic hospitality. We purchased oysters and clams farmed right there on the property, but it was not just a transaction - Kevin taught us about the process and biology of oysters and showed us how to shuck them properly. We were also able to enjoy a fun boat ride on the Puget Sound. We saw wildlife (including otters!), relaxed by the fire, and went for walks.
The cabin itself is very comfortable and bigger than it looks in pictures. The view of the cove is wonderful. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. But more than anything, Kevin made the stay memorable and enjoyable. This is a very special place and we definitely want to come back!
So much fun. so well fed!
This was the best hipcamp/airbnb/hotel/vacation experience we've had in a really long time. Kevin cooked us oysters over an open fire, taught us to shuck oysters, and heated up the natural hot tub super hot. Can't say enough about how much fun we had!
Peaceful waterfront escape
Kevin was an amazing host for our time at Treasure Cove Shellfish Farm. It is a very unique a quiet place on the water, perfect for swimming, floating or kayaking. Kevin taught us all about how Oysters are farmed and we got to enjoy some fresh from the source.
The bathroom & hot tub were much nicer than we expected and the lawn had plenty of space for our family's BIG 10 person (3 room) tent.
We could not have had a better experience. It was a beautiful setting, with the gift of oysters, clams and muscles for purchase straight from the oyster farm directly in front of the property. Kevin was an exceptional host. He catered to our every need. An additional surprise was the hot tub, great for the kids during the day and adults after dark. We left with Kevin becoming a good friend!!!
A great little gem on the water
Our trip to Oyster Camp was awesome. Kevin is a great host. We ate 60 oysters and 5 pounds of clams, and wanted to keep going but group was so full! Beautiful, rustic camping and a great mellow get away from the city. We are planning our next trip back as we speak.
