Watch the sunset into the world famous San Juan Islands. In order to get to the site you have to time it correctly with the tides so anyone camping will need to coordinate with me prior! Also it is a 12 minute hike to the site. You will hike across a creek, about 8 inches deep. Then 25 yards of mud, you will sink a couple inches into the mud. Wear appropriate footwear.

Beautiful campsite & views! However, do NOT book this campsite unless you are prepared wearing knee high boots. The walk from the car to the site includes trudging through thick, deep mud (very difficult to carry heavy camp gear with you). Really wish the description was more detailed- but hope this review will be helpful to others!
Awesome in so many ways
I almost want to not tell everyone how great it is so that I can stay whenever I want. This site was so beautiful. Tony met us and lead us to the site... even carried some things in!!! Thanks Tony! Definitely wear ankle hiking boots or taller rain boots and only pack in what you can carry. My favorite are the fairy lights and swings! Very private and secluded. Views are amazing.
One of the best campsites ever! When the tide is up you have have true solitude and unobstructed sunsets. On a hot day, the incoming tidal water is surprisingly warm. Tony was a great host and extremely knowledgeable about the local fauna.
Cant wait to come back
This place will always hold a special place in my heart. The adventure in getting there, the beautiful sunset. The swing.. everything was perfect...
I'd definitely come back again and would highly recommend booking this gem of a spot before everyone takes up the calendar.
Ps id suggest bringing some rainboots :)
Wow, what a unique and special spot. It was an awesome place to spend the weekend. The 15 minute walk in across Oyster Creek and the mud flats to the site set the tone for a scenic Puget Sound Adventure!
