1 acre hosted by Aimee K.
The Songhouse Sanctuary got it's name by the open, quiet, and private energy of the land ...and by virtue of the songbirds that live here. That being actual bird variety, and the 2 stewards, Aimée & Aimée who love to sing together & with anyone who'll join us! We're a friendly couple with a dog, Shuba, and cat, Lucy - also very friendly - and we are into sharing our peaceful and easy ways. You may not see much of us as we respect your privacy and love our own... but if it feels just right we may end up out there by the fire with you!
You'll look out on an open meadow with hawthorn, wild roses, and beyond that a surround of your PNW favorite trees, cedar, fir and alder. 100 acres of trails are just across the street and will take you off into a magical world to explore. This is a great place to stop if you are wanting an outdoor experience with proximity to Port Townsend and access to adventures in the Olympics.
You are provided with wood for fires, and we'll happily give you the lay of the land. We'll also leave you a gallon of filtered drinking water per person each night's stay.
