I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this site which I found to be very family friendly. Marcus was a wonderful host and the site met the description posted. Great location proximate to soap lake, lenore lake caves, and the Gorge Amphitheatre. Highly recommended!
The site was fine. There are a few low hanging trees on the driveway in. It scratched the side of the trailer and damaged the vent cap. If he trims the trees it should be fine.
We had a great time at Marcus' place! There's a pretty long driveway, so make sure you head all the way down to get to his homestead (it's also where the water and bathroom are, FYI!). He's got lots of space to spread out, and his place is just a short walk to the lake.
The neighbors have white cows, which are noisy in a cute farmsy way in the morning, and frankly, I thought they were adorable. If you get a chance to chat with Marcus and his family, they are super fun, really relaxed people, and were so excited to have my (very large! 15+ people) group come to stay with them.
You're also only about 15 minutes driving distance from the town of Ephrata, where there are gas stations and a Walmart. Moses Lake isn't too far away either, so it's very well located to be close but not too close to civilization in case you forget anything.
We went to a show at the Gorge Amphitheater, and camped at this spot on the way back to Spokane. Marcus is a radical and interesting fella with a nice family. Lots of space to make your own.
The Ranch was everything we expected and more. Marcus and his family were very friendly, they even pointed us in the direction of some local hikes. They had a couple of very friendly dogs and a goat who seemed to think she was a dog as well. We will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend staying on this beautiful property.
The site was really pretty and the hosts were extremely nice and friendly. We were greeted with the owners dog, who was super cute. If you’re thinking of staying here consider renting a truck or SUV, there are some big rocks in the drive way that can make it difficult for regular cars.
Enjoyed our stay at Marcus’ place. Very chill with lots of space to camp. Conveniently located near Soap Lake so easy to pop out for all the things you forgot. A great base camp to explore Soap Lake, Sun Lakes-Dry Falls and more.
