The RV spot sits on a very level gravel pad and has 30 amp electric and a water hookup. We were nestled right on the edge of the barnyard with gorgeous views of the rolling hills and the menagerie of animals roaming the farm grounds. We loved watching the ducks, chickens, mini horses, goats, and even the cranky geese!
Matt and his wife Melissa were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this spot for relaxation and as titled, the star gazing is phenomenal!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was terrific. Matthew was very responsive to my questions prior to arriving. The site was just as described and pictured. We were totally surrounded by green rolling hills; it was such a treat to wake up to chickens, roosters and geese in such a beautiful, peaceful setting. My kids really enjoyed watching the ponies and goats; Matthew was kind enough to give them some feed to share amongst the goats which was a real treat for them. Thanks for allowing us to stay with you!

The Old Weber Farm was perfect for my overnight stay. My hosts for the evening were adorable and well behaved ducks (with ducklings), geese, chicken, redwing blackbirds, goats and horses. All surrounded by the Palouse in its finest shades of spring green.
The spot that was designated for my van was tidy and clean with a picnic table and fire pit that also included power and water which all functioned as advertised. As a photographer, I enjoyed capturing the animals. The grand finale was the purple and orange sun, setting in the background of the windmill surrounded by deep green hills.
Communication with Matt was super prompt and thorough.
Loved my stay.

Matt was great. We had traffic delays and then a flat tire so we came in past midnight. He put solar lights at the driveway for us and waited with a light to help us park. Super friendly. The chickens, roosters, goats, ducks and geese were beautiful. The wheat fields gorgeous to wake up to. We stayed in his RV spot and had water and electricity. His outdoor wash station is perfect. Cheney is a great little town. Les Swabb fixed our tire and we had a great lunch at the Marketplace Restaurant and Amish Store.

Glad the tire was fixed! You all made it to the Amish store before we did! Safe travels and thanks for the visit.

We didn’t really know what to expect and we were more than pleasantly surprised. Absolutely beautiful area. We used the one RV spot and it was perfectly level, clean, with water and power hookups. It’s so quiet the only thing you’ll hear is the breeze blowing through the grasses, birds singing and an occasional rooster crowing. Matt was a great host. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matt’s Hipcamp. What a fun experience with the geese, ducks, and chickens and even the barn swallows. We ended up leaving a day early because of a change in our schedule so we missed the opportunity to take our dog for a walk around Matt’s entire property but we are looking forward to doing so on our next visit to the Spokane area. Matt was really interesting and fun to visit with. Matt, you and your family have a special place and it is great that you are able to share the Palouse experience with your guests. The sunset was spectacular and the sunrise beautiful. Thank you for a great evening.

Matt knew exactly what he was talking about when it comes to stargazing camping. The site is not the darkest place in eastern Washington, but Matt made the whole experience super nice. With dry air, wide unobstructed sky and clear view of milky-way, I was able to have fun private family star party. The site was very well maintained and very quiet. It felt like boondocking in private farm with luxury of hookups. Matt is very nice and willing to help.
