The Farm on Van Wyck is an 80 acre property that has been in the family since the 1950's. Half hay field and half forest, the land offers campers endless options for camping and exploring. While campers can see few houses in the distance, they are mainly surrounded by tall trees and wide open spaces. The Farm is a 10 minute drive from downtown Bellingham, Lake Whatcom, and several hiking/biking trails, 5 minutes from a quiet fishing lake, and only 2 minutes off of Mt. Baker Highway. It's a great place if you'd like to feel secluded or "off the grid", but still close to town and lots of recreation! We are open seasonally, from June 1st to September 30th.
There are four campsites on The Farm:
Site 1 - One of our most accessible sites. Located in the upper hay field bordering the woods. Suitable for tents, vans, truck campers, teardrops, and travel trailers less than 15ft. Maximum of one vehicle and five guests.
Site 2 - Our smallest and most private tent site. Located in the lower field nestled against the woods. Suitable for tent campers only. Maximum of one vehicle and five guests.
Site 3 - Our largest tent site, perfect for groups. Located in the lower field against the woods. Suitable for tent campers only. Maximum of two vehicles and ten guests.
Site 4 - Our only site with electric hookups. Very large and accessible but less private; located by the old barn and communal fire pit. Suitable for tents, vans, truck campers, teardrops, and travel trailers less than 15ft. Maximum of one vehicle and five guests.
*Vehicles with 4WD are recommended if there has been heavy rain recently.
**The field is hayed each year in late July. Before then, you can expect to be surrounded by long hay up to about 4 feet tall. We keep all campsites and the road mowed short throughout the camping season.

Found myself in Bellingham without a place to camp and ended up here. I came it after dark and it was relatively easy to find. Taylor was friendly and helpful. Cute puppy too
Taylor is an incredible host and the Farm in Van Wyck is a beautiful place to stay. We towed our Airstream there for a few nights while exploring the Bellingham area and absolutely loved staying at the Farm. There’s plenty of space to bring a trailer or tents and the area is so big you feel like you have the place to yourself. Their dog is such a sweet heart and Taylor made us feel right at home. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

We thought the farm was super relaxing, beautiful and a great place to recharge!! Taylor, Nick and Nolie were awesome and very accommodating!! Couldn’t have been nicer!! We can’t wait to go back again!!

The farm is a very picturesque, multi acre property with broad views of fields and forest. Paddington, my service dog and I walked freely on the property. The baby goats were adorable. this was a very pleasant get away from the commercial and state campgrounds that we usually stay in. Because it's at the gateway to Mount Baker my wife and I will be staying here again this year. Most importantly, Taylor and her husband Nick we're wonderful hosts. Nick help me get the trailer situated properly and went the extra mile to make sure that it was level and located where I liked it. Great job!

Hello campers,
You are in for a treat when you select the Van Wyck Farm to camp out.
What was most breath taking and serene for me was the expansive field of tall grasses and buttercups. Evergreens ring the perimeter and the pond in site comes complete with cattails, Iris and a chorus of croakers .
The site i prefered was in view of the hosts house and not far from the road so there is a bit of road noise. I chose it because it was high and level for my little trailer on my third time out with her.. I had also talked to Taylor and she told me it was not as private so I didn't have that expectation.
Taylor and Nick are very friendly and their little farm is as sweet as it comes just occcupying the se corner of this beautiful secret valley.
The fire pit is awesome and can accommodate several fire lovers .
It is truly beautiful and I felt it was such a priveledge to enjoy . There were visitors driving by at times but they live there so a little flexibility goes a long way.
I have already told others about it and hope to return later this summer.
Great, quiet site in a large field. Camp fire wood and pit provided. Taylor was there to greet us and was very kind and communicative. Great place to stay for access to Mount Baker hiking!
This little farm was perfect, convenient and private.
The hostess was available and very sweet.
A few friends and I enjoyed a weekend at The Farm on Van Wyck this June. The directions to get the farm were very accurate. Taylor was in her front yard to greet us and our camp site (3) was tucked away on the back corner of the property. The site was really well maintained, had a small fire pit and two camping areas. We were all pleasently surprised with how spacious site 3 was. Its a great site for multiple couples, families, etc.
The property is beautiful. The back of your campsite faces a forest and the front of the site faces a large open hay field with tall grass. There is a trail that circles a good part of their property which we walked each morning.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back!
