It was very private and Lane & Lori and Jemma were exceptional hosts! Our time there was very enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a secluded place to stay with all the amenities of Sequim close by.
Great first hipcamp experience
Lori and her husband were perfect hosts! Accommodating me in short notice and helping me set up my ‘81 Scamp for my first ever weekend camping experience. As a newbie, I needed to learn much about how things worked and they guided me through the processes for a positive experience. Had I been in a traditional campground, as I’d intended, I don’t think I would’ve gotten such positive, non judgmental help as these two provided. Not only did they set me up, but extended an offer to join their family’s fire circle. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time camping experience and gained so much confidence without their help. Good people!
Our hosts were so very helpful and accommodating. It was very quiet and such a lovely set up! My children were thrilled and we all want to go back again sometime! The sunrise was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful to watch from our campsite. 10/10 experience. It was the perfect way to close out our summer!
Lori met us when we pulled up and then left us alone for the rest of the time but let us know if we needed anything, to knock on her door. We appreciated the fire pit, clean porta-potty and beautiful meadow near our campsite. Also, the stars were super visible the one night we stayed! Would stay again!
A-plus hosts and campsite
Really nice, warm, welcoming hosts. Great site. And the location was right next door (literally) to a real gem: The Discovery Trail (a very long paved bike trail that winds through beautiful rural scenery). The site includes a fire pit (and free firewood), as well as a picnic table and chairs, plus a water spigot and hose. From the picnic table, you look out on a beautiful grassy pasture next door. Very quiet and relaxing.
