Stay at our private piece of rain forest paradise. This property was a home stead 100 years ago when they were still logging spruce for the World War 1 war effort. Our 9 acres of forest is adjacent to the Olympic national park and the Olympic discovery trail. Camp next to Lake Crescent and the Sol Duc river/ hot springs, immersed in the Olympic rain forest, next to a bubbling creek. There is hiking , biking and boating in all directions. Each camp is semi secluded, surrounded in ferns and old growth trees. With many trails that loop around and BBQ faculty's its a great spot to chill and cook or explore the forests thousands of ferns and bubbling brooks . Located a mile and a half from Lake Crescent, adjacent to the Olympic Discovery Trail and the Olympic National Park, our property is a perfect gathering point to explore the possibilities of the peninsula. Great stay

Got in late and left pretty early so didn’t get to appreciate everything this campground had to offer but pretty darn cool. Only mild downside was proximity to road noise at site 5b but totally manageable.

We had so much fun at the Rainforest Retreat. Such a cute, well maintained space. Perfect location for exploring the hot springs, lake, and Olympic National Park. We loved the outdoor kitchens, pads and platforms for our tent, and hot running water. Will definitely be back!

Magical little place. Great to explore the area. Nice facilities. The artwork everywhere around made it so special. Hot water in the showers could be improved. Overall loved it!

Having two kitchens, bathrooms, and showers were great! Definitely bring more layers when it’s cold out and expect it to be 15 F colder than Port Angeles. The camp staff was super helpful and a delight to have around and the site was HUGE!!

We loved our stay at this campground! It was very peaceful and beautiful. Some campsites are closer to the bathrooms and main area, but we stayed at one a bit more tucked away and it was perfect. We were right on the Olympic Discovery Trail, which was so perfect for bike rides. The trail is a absolutely gorgeous with all the fall colors! I highly recommend this campground. Clean, quaint, and very friendly hosts.

Magical location.

Absolutely magical experience! My first time camping and I’m obsessed with this location. Especially since I love the peninsula, best way to spend my 30th birthday! My dogs had a blast and were so heart broken when we left. The amenities were perfect especially for me as an inexperienced camper. The wood carvings are the perfect touch of whimsical my favorite is Stan!
