*COVID-19 UPDATE* - in this strange time we are prioritizing safety by hosting only one group at a time and allowing enough time in between each visit to allow for proper cleaning and for any viral load potentially present to die down so you can feel confident of your safety during your stay. We are trying to set up any accommodations or requests (like firewood or BBQ utensils) ahead of arrival to reduce contact. Our bathroom is still well stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer, as well as a foot pump hand sink and soap. Come and unwind with us.

Skip the crowded campgrounds and stay with us instead! We are a family of 3 (Ben, Lauren, and Odie) working on building a permaculture farm.  We have nice sunsets above the treeline and on clear nights, the stargazing is "out of this world" (get it?)  We now have a composting toilet and fire pit up and running for your "business" and pleasure (see what I did there?)

There is a discreet, steep and narrow footpath down to the shallow river with small waterfall where you can splash around, try to catch a fish and view wildlife. We will show you where to find it during your meet and greet.

Our 20 acres is located outside the city limits of Hoquiam, WA (about 8 curvy but accessible mountain miles/20 minutes from town.)  We are about 30 minutes from the ocean beaches (Ocean Shores to the North and Westport to the South to name a couple.) 30 minutes to the Olympic National Forest.

There is no cell service here on the farm. (Maybe a whiff of Verizon if the wind is blowing just right and Mercury is in retrograde.) We do offer Free Wifi up by the bathroom/ firepit area for Wifi calling but the coverage doesn't reach to the actual campsite.

CHILD POLICY: We like to see children connecting with nature at an early age and therefore offer camping for children under 5 at no additional charge. If you have Children under 5 please let us know in a message but dont include them in the head count when booking.

The hosts were right there to welcome me to the site, and provided a tour of the area to camp! The land itself is perfect for an overnight stay close to Olympic National Park and the coast. The tent area is soft and level, and the view of the stream from the site is great as well. There is no bathroom, but there are towns nearby to cover that.

Setting up the tent for the night. The vegetation along the property is extremely diverse. Exploring the forest on the property. One of the land owners taking me on a tour of the campsite.

Our family stayed at Garrett’s for a week and it was a great experience. It was very quiet and surrounded by big trees. Lots of room for kids to play in the grass. Their fire pit area is pretty unique. It even has a bbq on it. Some of us hiked down to the river a few times during our stay. Kids loved exploring it. Hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend their unique place.

Great site! Hosts were really accommodating letting us charge our electric bikes, plus use the washer and dryer in the morning after a preschooler vomit incident in the middle of the night.
