The campsite sits about 5 feet off the Ridge of Mount High “G” - yet right below our home. The Sunrises are amazing, the fresh air is invigorating, Not to mention the sounds of the eagle, owls, and all fowl feather friends around the property can be meditative.
To get to the campsite you’ll walk *down hill* past our home it is an uneven ground walk, the path is clean not wheel chair friendly but could be done.
The tent sites are both level and grass covered they both fit 4 person tents.
Your fur babies are welcome at no additional charge - must clean up after your fur babies.
We have two dog kennels - with dogs houses in them. No leaving barking dogs for the day, if your dog has a barking issue take them with you if they don’t they are welcome to hang out.

Our stay at slug ranch was incredible! Loree was SO kind and hospitable. She made us feel very welcome. Filtered water and clean (sanitized) portable toilets were a great bonus. We were astounded by the beauty around us- this is a very special place.
Beautiful property and great stay!
Slug Ranch and the host Loree was amazing. The site was perfect for what I was looking for. The small tent site and the other large group site are far enough from each other that you have no idea others are there. The facilities are well maintained (best Porta potty I’ve ever used!) and Loree has gone out of her way to make sure her guests have privacy, have their basic needs met, but still feel welcomed in a warm environment. She was warm and friendly and talked about her vision for the property and wants her guests to enjoy the peacefulness she finds there. I loved hearing the birds, watching the sun rise and set, and taking advantage of the various benches, viewpoints and hammock to read and relax in early morning and late afternoon when I returned from hiking. I hope to utilize this find again!
Great views, great site, great time
Slug Ranch is amazing! The views are great and it's close to so many great hikes and sites. Loree herself is super helpful and friendly. There's also a really friendly dog; definitely a plus for me. No formal toilet or shower, but the Porta-potty on site is well maintained and the solar shower works pretty well. (besides, its camping, comeon live a little rough)
Almost wish I could keep it a secret so I can more easily book it again, but no, this place deserves the good review.
Great tent pads and views.
Wife, myself and two dogs had a lovely time here tent camping. Very clean place with a sanitized ADA sani can. Great view almost all the way to Seattle. High elevation made for outstanding HAM radio contacts during field day.
Loree is a kind and welcoming host, the property is lovely, shared fire pit area large enough to easily stay 6' away from the other campers, woke up to a beautiful expansive view of water and mountains... what more can you say?
Slug Ranch was great! Loree is a wonderful host and had great recommendations to share with is. The site is located in their backyard so within viewing distance of the main house but it still felt private. There is also a very friendly dog that makes it feel a bit more like home. Thanks for having us!
We love slug ranch!
Slug Ranch is a wonderful haven away from the world. It’s beautiful, the views are spectacular, and the hosts are amazing and friendly. Can’t imagine a better first experience with HipCamp! Loree gave such a warm welcome and was a truly great host throughout the stay. Great folks. Great place.
