Spacious Campsites Tents/Campervans

Shallow Springs Ranch is excited to announce that we have completed the work on  four new campsites on an additional 10 acres of the ranch.  For those campers who enjoyed our ranch last year, you will be pleased to know that the new sites are located only about one to two minutes from the original campsites 1 and 2 (which are now closed).  We listened carefully to the excellent feedback from our campers this past season and incorporated many suggestions.  All the new sites offer the same quality of privacy and space as the previous sites, and based upon your suggestions, the campsites were specifically designed with unique characteristics.   Please carefully review each campsite description below to choose the perfect site for your camping needs. 

Don't forget to follow us on Instagram as we put the finishing touches on each site through the off season months in preparation for the upcoming 2021 camping season.  We will be taking photos of the work in progress and adding them to the listing while replacing the old photos as appropriate.   

Campsite 1:  This site has space for one vehicle with additional parking near the campsite.  The site can accommodate 4 to 6 people, one to two tents, or camper van or truck w/camper.

Campsite 2:  This is a "WALK-IN" campsite.  Your vehicle will be parked approximately 50 feet from the site.  This site is designed for one tent only and can accommodate up to 4 people.  The site offers privacy with a unique camping experience in a beautiful setting. 

Campsite 3:  This campsite is primarily used for RVs or Camper/Trailers.  Please look on our other listing for Shallow Springs Ranch RV Camping to get a detailed description of this site.

Campsite 4:  This campsite was designed for those campers who enjoy sleeping in hammocks, tents (one tent only) or camper vans.  Parking is available for one to two vehicles and the site is best suited for 4 adults or 4 adults with two to three children.  If using a hammock, please do not/not place nails, screws or any hardware into the trees.

Background:  Shallow Springs is a working Ranch with acreage set aside for Hipcampers who have their own area for enjoyment. You may catch a view of horses being ridden or cattle grazing. Our pond has been fully renovated for the ducks, where seating is available for viewing. We have a flock of chickens and a friendly ranch dog. There is a nest of Bald Eagles in the vicinity that frequently fly overhead. Don't be surprised to wake up and find deer strolling by. Feel free to relax and watch the animals in their habitats. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash when not in your campsite.

Bring your bike and access the Larry Scott Trail located only 4 minutes or one mile by walking from the ranch entrance. The trail goes on for miles throughout the valley and to the downtown boat marina. This is great for biking or hiking while catching fantastic views of local properties.

Shallow Springs is a 70 acre Ranch located just 15 minutes from the historic victorian city of Port Townsend.  You can enjoy the wineries, micro-brews, farmers market and a variety of festivals, among numerous other fun activities.
