I highly recommend this place. The owner was great along with his helper. This is very primitive camping and that’s how we like it. We were there first guests and they did more to accommodate us than we expected. There are plenty of spots if you were in a tent in a few where you can park an RV. We will definitely stay here again in the future and thank you again for the good times.

The perfect place for camping! Earl was absolutely flexible and was easy to get ahold of. We booked with with some of our friends but my husband ended up having to go into work, so we arrived a day later and he was super understanding about it. Gave us the option to use our days whenever we wanted/could. He made sure our friends found the place they wanted to set up and gave them what they needed for our camp fires. Such a great and beautiful place to camp! Totally recommend camping here!!

Camping was very private! It was great to explore the 60 acres on old logging roads. There was some springs around the campsite from burned mattresses. The place would be perfect if the campsite was leveled a little and the property tidied up a little! Camp host met us on arrival and brought us wood! Overall, very good experience if you are a self contained camper!

Let me start by saying we would absolutely stay there again. I do feel like the description for the site isnt completely accurate. We were in the first site, right off Scarlet road. That didn't seem like it would allow much privacy but it's a dead end so there was no traffic. The actual site is small. You will not fit 52 people in this site. We had two small travel trailers (21 feet and 19 feet) that we had to get creative to fit. You will probably want to back your trailer in from the road to the site, approximately 30 yards. No problem if you're a confident driver. I pulled in with my 21ft and it took an hour to get turned around to exit. The site has some rutting making finding a good level spot difficult but doable. There was a ton of firewood on site. So much we barely needed to use our own. Great fire pit. Surrounded by thick forest. Great host and his employee was also very accommodating. I never met Earl. I met John, the owner, and Ken. Both were great. Ken even offered to start our fire. Once settled in we did feel very secluded and private. Great start gazing. We walked up the road to the other site which was much more appropriate for trailers than our site. Still, would not accommodate 52 people. It looked like maybe 3 or 4 small trailers could fit there with easy in and out. Or a handful of tents. The over head pic of the open meadow is misleading. We did not see that meadow. All in all a great camp spot though, for a small group.

We never met Earl but we did meet John and Ken!! Both really nice people! Ken brought us fire wood and showed us a cool way to light a fire! The area was very nice, primitive camping, overall just a really nice place and we would definitely recommend!

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Very primitive. First 2 spots were well cleared and not over grown. Spots 3 and 4 were overgrown as well as the road. A little brush clearing along the road and campsites 3 and 4 would go a long way. We managed to pull our 29ft trailer up to campsite 4 at the top of the road and took out many branches along the way.
