Located less than a mile from down town forks, amongst North America's only rainforest, is savage steams. With a booked nights stay, u get a free tent rental and all the fire wood u need for your camp fire... You will be camping along a beutiful lotic water system nesteld amongst the trees of this water sheds riparian zone. Every campsite is right on the water with its own access to it.. each campsite has a large picnic table and fire pit. Most sites are equipped with a grill as well. There is onsite fishing and swimimg located a short cast away from your bed. A couple miles from camp is the bogachield fish hatchery where there is a boat launching ramp and some of the hottest steel head and salmon fishing in the world! Within 20 miles of your camping site, you will have access to the pacific ocean and many long sandy beaches. Many rivers and a few lakes are also within 20 miles of the site such as the quilleute river, sol duc river, the bogachiled river, the hoh river and the dickie river, just to name a few. Within yor camping are are ping ping tables, a fooseball table, horseshoe pit, volleyball court and were working on pitting in a frisbegolf coarse..there is also a few bikes, wetsuits, surfboards, footballs, gold panning, and many other camping and sporting items that are available to be used free of charge, we just ask that all items are returns before u check out . New and exciting news.... We just recently added a new bathroom with running water, showers and flushable toilets . Thankfully u won't have to dig a hole, or smell other campers poop in a outhouse or sanacan..... use of the facility is free, and if u have a problem with such amenities being free, u have the option of leaving a donation to help refill the propane tank that is fueling the luxurious ,'ON Demand' hot water system for the showers.

The people here were super helpful. We went camping really spur of the moment and left much behind. They came through every time. They were super nice and accomodating. Totally laid back and good price.

Our spot was great and offered privacy close to the river. The only thing that bothers me is when we arrived our host told us the toilets were not working and that they may be repaired the next day... but we never had news. So we spent 3 days with no shower (which is ok) but also NO restroom which is more problematic.

Hyde is so awesome! She's warm and welcoming and will drop everything to get you what you need. The property is awesome and has so many cool like nooks and places to pop a tent up. The stream is really close too, and so nice to fall asleep too. There was a toilet and a shower and a bundle of firewood waiting for me! Such a fun place to be, can't wait to go back!

If you're planning a trip to the Hoh Rainforest but don't want to risk the Olympic campgrounds being fully booked THIS IS THE PLACE. A really quick drive to the park and a fantastic site to hangout at. The stream is beautiful and the campsites are in a really cool spot down by the water.

What I liked most about this place is that it was still covered in moss, a signature characteristic of the Hoh and the area in general. It was awesome to sleep under the green beards.

Dylan and Hyde were incredible hosts and tended to our every need, especially while having 3 kids and our dog with us! We had a super peaceful and relaxing stay at Savage Streams and walked out of there with new lifelong friends as well. We would recommend Savage Streams and will definitely be back. 😁

My husband and I had a wonderful time campubg at Savage Streams! Upon arrival, we were slightly confused about where to go and set up camp, but my husband followed Dylan's directions and set up where it seemed best to us. Once we found a little spot down by the creek it was awesome! The spots by the creek are secluded and quiet. The creek is lovely to wake up to! Our site had a perfect spot for a tent. It was level and well padded with a thick layer of bark. We enjoyed creek access, a beautiful view, and a picnic table. I am glad we brought our camping grill to go over the fire, as we chose one of the sotes without a grill.

Overall, the camp site we chose was clean and well suited to our small tent and our needs. Hyde is a wonderful and friendly host!

For a last minute camping booking before the busy Labor Day weekend, we were very impressed with our hosts, especially Heidi! She made our stay special. Although the campsite was not quite as "private" as we thought it would be, we still enjoyed the company of the other campers and overall had a great experience! We would definitely go back.

Dylan and the woman were extremely courteous and hospitable and gave us unlimited firewood for a campfire. Unfortunately, that does not make up for the poor site experience. There is 1 campsite which is in a good spot but other than that, the campground is just a big backyard to a house with some spots down by a small swampy stream which is quite unkept and impossible to set up a tent in because of the smell, uneven ground, and insects because of stagnant water. Additionally, the toilet was clogged and as the website suggests, and there are no showers.

When we first arrived we weren't sure what to expect. The place seemed deserted and we weren't sure where we could/should set up our tent. Hyde soon found us and made us feel welcome and gave us the rundown. She suggested a couple of her favorite spots to put up the tent. More campers soon joined us but there is plenty of space for everyone to feel almost alone. What a great location! Great uncrowded and comfortable place to use as a base for our Olympic explorations. It is nothing fancy, but I would go again without hesitation. The creek is pretty, and great background noise for bedtime. The kids really loved the rope swing over the creek and the crab pot(?) swing! They also made good use of the badminton net and foose ball table. We even ate all the black berries our bellies could take!
Dylan and Hyde were very welcoming and attentive.
