Places to see near Savage streams

Chillin near a stream!
When my family and I arrived Dylan greeted us. We felt welcome and at ease at the site. Our spot by the stream was a dream for my family. This place is really chill, and Dylan is a cool dude!
Worst camping experience ever
My stay at Savage Streams was the worst camping experience I've ever had. The place is a little trashy and there was trash left in the site we chose. But the stream nearby is nice. I was camping with my brother and his three young daughters. The first night we had to ask a site nearby to keep it family-friendly and to quiet down around midnight. The second night shouting, music, motorcycles continued on until after 3am. I asked the campers (and the host!) to keep it down twice.
Maybe you're reading this review and thinking: I like to party. Then this place is maybe for you. If you want to sleep and/or if you're camping with kids, don't make the same mistake I did. Don't stay at Savage Streams.
Majority of camp sites are in a field half torn up for dirt work in suburban outskirts of town. Some small camp sites next to a pretty cool creek, but with garbage and rusted metal in the water. Two structures as you enter the small camp ground, one is what looks to be where the adjacent junk yard is run out of, and the other is an old barn with a 10 ft by 4 ft room with half walls for a bathroom. The toilet is a plactic portable boat toilet hooked up for perminate use, and the shower is a water spigot over a pallet. No lock on bathroom door save for the rope that fell in the toilet water overflowing onto the floor. Not family friendly as described, multiple parties kept the kids up most of the night, bad enough that we cut our losses after the first night and left before fulfilling our paid through days.
Relaxing, friendly, close to coast
It looked a little bit trashy at first, it sits on the property that is at the edge of town Forks, WA. Creek is superb and host Dylan is very friendly fellow. Party scene must be off the hook on holidays. Toilet situation is not for everyone, but we had a decent time at the Savage Creek, 24 Heavens spot. We were there for 2 nights with our 12 year old daughter and had a fun time while camping here. It is about 25 minutes from the coast and 15 minutes from Pleasant Lake. Rainforest charms at the Savage creek!
Great hospitality. Easy booking, relaxed arrival/checkout time. Made my travels much easier.
Just be sure to disregard any of your traditional "campground rules " and relax & enjoy yourself. Its all good.
