Campground Bliss
Wow, just got back from this amazing hipcamp! Tons of great spots to pitch tents, awesome firepits for cozy evenings, and the sunset views from my hammock were simply stunning. Watching the sun reflect off the gorge, through the trees, was pure magic. Also visiting the little spring was fantastic. In the morning we even heard a turkey! Nature from it's finest. Definitely adding this spot to my favorites list!

Camping with family and pets!
My family and I enjoyed our stay so much we ended up booking a second week right away instead of traveling to our next site. Beautiful sunsets, and fresh air. There’s nothing not to love here! The scenery is amazing. The hikes near by consist of Beacon Rock, Cape Horn Trail and more. They gave great recommendations for other places near by as well. The hosts are just AMAZING, we bought a whole load of wood for camping fires priced at only $25. They have very clean and adorable outhouses to use the restroom. They also just have such kindness exhilarating from them, nothing but smiles and good conversation. I was able to go in the woods a little bit and play fetch with my dog too, which is so rare because most places require your dog to be completely leashed the entire time! I’d recommend staying here over state parks or DNR camping any day. We look forward to coming back again some day. :)

We loved tent camping on this beautiful property complete with a small trail network and nice outhouse. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend the stay to others.

And first place goes to…..
I just have to say that this campsite is by far our favorite out of all the hip camps we have stayed at some of the other hip camps. We’ve been to have felt less like camping and more like parking in RV at somebody’s house. I have not had a bad experience at any Hipcamp however, this place was the best experience. The property is absolutely beautiful. We lucked out and had incredible weather for November. We live in Troutdale where it’s super windy and it was so nice to get away from the wind. We went on a walk around the property and on the first day we saw several deer. When we first arrived, it was dark and we were a little nervous about pulling in there, because it looks questionable, but it was so easy to get our trailer in and back into the spot. They have a well bathroom and inside they had reading material, deodorant and lotion. They also had water and soap outside so you can wash your hands. We were able to run our generator the entire time with no complaints, and there was a gentleman who lived on the property who was available when we had questions. I would recommend this Hipcamp to anyone.

No daylight
Due to our plans, we did not get to the site until well after dark and left before daybreak in the AM. Rhoda’s directions were spot on and there is plenty of space at the site. Although it was dark, we could tell the surroundings were beautiful.
