Places to see near Ray W.’s Land
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We were looking for a place close to the Hoh rainforest with our 32 foot travel trailer. We were the last come, first rejected at the national park, it was getting late and our choices were dwindling. We found Ray W’s land about 4:00: 6 miles from Forks, their grocery store and yummy Pacific Pizza, 25 miles from the Hoh River Visitor Center and 25 miles from Ruby Beach. The sites are level, overlook a pretty meadow and have sturdy picnic tables and fire pits. He has only 6 sites, they are widely spaced and easy to get into and out of. They are right on 101, so Hwy noise during the day but completely silent at night. If you are self-contained and a little hesitant about boon docking in the rainforest, this is a good choice to explore the area.
Great spot for self contained rv
Simple, clean RV parking. No hookups but sites are nice, clean, and flat. Site includes fire pit and table. We stayed one night and we were the only ones there. Very peaceful. Off the 101 and can barely hear the road noise. Fun horseshoe pit adjacent to the road. The next morning Ray left us a gift on our windshield—a nice little notebook with a pen! We’re using it to document our travels.
