22 acres hosted by Rachel W.
This land was purchased in the 1980s by 2 friends. They built 2 cabins by hand using cordwood construction and then the land was subdivided. We are now the 4th owners of this cabin and just love the areas beauty and all it has to offer and hope you do as well. There are elaborate gardens and displays to see all around the house and even being there for a week, you seem to find something new every time to walk around.

So peaceful, so quiet!
Great area. We were all alone and it was so peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay and we’d defiantly go back. As long as you take the right path into the area, you should have no problem getting in an out. Be prepared for some gravel roads, but they aren’t bad.

Fantastic and secluded spot.
This was an amazing private and secluded spot. We were fortunate enough to have few clouds and could see so many stars and the Milky Way. Side note: Apple Maps did take us to the incorrect location, so I'd recommend using another planning application. The location provided plenty of space for our two rigs. My only regret was not being able to stay at least two nights.

Great spot to camp in the Methow! We nestled into the pine forest and enjoyed the stars. A nice swimming hole just down the the dirt road is a great place to cool off.

Love this place
All the other reviews are dead on this place was the greatest. We had the entire place to ourselves and it was very calm and peaceful. We saw Elk, Deer, Squirrels, Eagles, an Owl about 15 feet away in a tree and even an FA18 fighter jet made a turn right above us one day about 100 feet up. From the front of my truck to rear of my trailer I am 55 feet and I had no problems on the dirt roads there. We will definitely be back as this is my new favorite spot. Would also like to thank the Host for sharing her property with campers.

Great spot. Quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds, especially liked seeing Lewis’s woodpeckers. Excellent star watching in the open area at the end of the camping ‘lane’. Was hot when we were there but pulled our truck camper in to the trees which kept things cool. Popped down to the Methow River WDFW spot a few miles up Hwy 153 for a cool dip.

Starry nights in the pines!
We were able to make a last minute booking - as all the first come first serve camping we were hoping to find was completely full. This ended up being a huge blessing - being on a beautiful and secluded property just a 5min drive from the Methow River was incredible (a much needed cool off). The stars were an amazing surprise once the sun went down with nature's sounds as the background. Lucky for us the meteor shower was still lingering and we were able to catch dozens of shooting stars. Next time we will certainly come more prepared to float the river!
