Camping is in an open field just off hwy 112, and is surrounded with trees. We offer fire pits for bbq only (bring your own briquettes) and an outhouse.Hand sanitizer is available in the out house, which we sanitize everyday. We are close to the Elwha river and numerous hiking and biking trails. Seventeen miles outside of Port Angeles.
Note that camp 2 and 3 are about 100 feet off the highway, and camp 1 is about 200 feet off the highway, so there is some road noise.
Also, you'll want to bring your own briquets. We have BBQ pits for your use.
Coming along hwy 112 from Port Angeles you'll cross the intersection of Dan Kelly/PlaceRoad and the highway (don't turn here, stay on highway 112). We are the first left, just after the guardrails. Down the gravel road some 75 feet, turn right at the "RangerCreek Campground" sign and follow the unimproved road about 100 feet to the campground. Campsite 1 is on the left, campsite 2 is on the right. The two campsites are separated by about 100 feet, so there's plenty of privacy. Please respect the privacy of the other campers.
Not recommended for RV's or trailers over 15 feet.
Pack your own trash out please.
If you are not feeling well please cancel and stay home.

We loved our couple night stay here. Super scenic and private, with a great view of the mountains. Very clean and well laid out. Host was very helpful and friendly. Really wished we could have stayed longer

We absolutely loved it here. Beautiful grassy area. Outhouse is well kept and clean. For the directions they are correct but little confusing. Just after dan kelly/place rd the entrance is on the left.
This was a great spot!! We are road tripping so we are on the road a lot and often campsites are full by the time we get there... this was just what we were looking for! Beautiful location and plenty of space!
Close to Port Angeles, Discovery Trail, and Elwha trails. Had wonderful wildflowers and a BBQ available. The host was kind enough to check to make sure we were all settled in. Lovely view of a hillside.
Excellent first time experience. Private area, well kept, clean. Well located to local spots. Near a highway so it isn’t quiet but it’s still plenty secluded. I’m hoping to come back.
Wonderful. Clean. Beautiful. Safe. Space to run/play. Charming grassy road. Mountain View’s during the day, and so many stars at night. Welcoming host! Phil had great ideas of places to see. I wish we had more time to spend here. I would definitely come back! We were at site number 2, and another group was at site 1. We could see and hear them, but they were nice, and it was never an issue. It was honestly LOVELY!!!!
