PaJo Ranch has been in the Roth family since 1974, starting off as a 200 head Beef Cattle Ranch, with horses and chickens to boot. After the 6 kids grew up and moved away the cows were sold and the lower acreage is now leased, leaving the woods that grace the banks of the Skykomish River available for some amazing camping! Wake up to the sounds of the song birds and the soft rustling of the leaves in the trees as the fresh air revitalizes you! Take a walk along the banks of the Skykomish River and dip your feet in and feel the fresh melted snow on your toes (from Stevens Pass no less!). Look to the east for breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains!!! Take a walk on the trails, don't forget to bring your pup too! An adventure you won't soon forget! Camping for just one night, we have the perfect spot for you up top looking over the lush fields! Don't worry you'll still have a view of the mountains and if you wanted to wake up early and walk down to the river you can! It's up to you! So book now and save your spot! Hope to see you soon! 😁 Your Host, Robin

This is great camp spot! Robin was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lot of land available that would accommodate a variety of camping styles. It has wonderful views of farmland valleys and the Cascade mountains, and has a very peaceful vibe. A variety of animals live on the property: chickens, ducks, sheep, and two adorable doggos, Shepherd and Spanky. If you have time, there are some gorgeous trails across the field and down by the river. We camped close to the house (and toilets/running water), but there were also more secluded spots, if that's your style. Their property is lined with deciduous trees, so I can only imagine how breathtaking it is in the fall. Robin also mentioned the pool potentially being opened to campers during the summer! I hope I get the opportunity to visit again!

Parked next to the coop.Snowy peaks. White picket fencing lining the family's former garden, perfect spot to pitch a tent!Keeping warm.

We camped near the house - had a nice picnic table and fire pit. It was very convenient for us to go to the reptile zoo the next day. We had access to a flush toilet, and actually took a hot shower in the morning.

Fire pit with a gorgeous view. Our camp near the house, in the field (near the chicken coop) and the frog bog.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here while visiting the Seattle area! Robin has an amazing ranch that perfectly suited pitching the tent for the night. An added bonus having a toilet, shower (although we didn’t use the shower), fire pit, and a nice new picnic table. Robin was a great host and made us feel very comfortable staying here. Thanks for having us!

My girlfriend, her dog and I couldn't have been much happier with camping here. Robin gave great directions to her property, the property was vibrant/beautiful/awesomely maintained, Robin's dog Spanky was sweet as heck..... I don't know what else to say, aside from, "I feel lucky to have stayed at pajo ranch." WOULD RECOMMEND/WOULD COME BACK!!!

The site I was given was not suitable. Clumpy dirt, on a slope. Could be a nice place to camp w some work on developing sites.

Sorry to hear you were not satisfied with that particular spot. We do have other spots available that you may not have been aware of because you left without inquiring further. Perhaps they may have been more suitable for your taste. The spot you were shown was down below by the river. We have more luxurious spots up top with lush grass that is beautifully maintained , along with a full bathroom where you can take a hot shower and have use of a Cabana. These are just a few of the amazing things available for you. Thank you.

This was a beautiful piece of property with wonderful views! Robin was a very helpful and kind host too! We stayed here one night as a family, with our 22-month old son.

The reason for a mixed review is because this property is not advertised as being right next to the train tracks. The trains come by very frequently throughout all hours of the day and night. Between 12:30am-2am alone there were 6 trains and each one blew its hours as it went by the property. Because of this, none of us slept much.

If you are a deep sleeper and aren’t bothered by trains in the night, this is a great option for you. But if you’re looking for a relatively restful night of sleep, this isn’t recommended.

Thank you to Robin for opening up her property to us!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful review. I do apologize if you didn’t get a good nights rest. The train is about 300yards away from our house. I have lived here all of my life and to me it reminds me of something from a fairy tail in the country. The train honks it’s horn twice maybe 3 times as it crosses the road. It has been a soothing sound of the valley for many many years. Again, I do apologize if it kept you up. Take care and hope to have you stay with us again soon. The camp spots that we have down below next to the Skykomish River may be more suitable next time and are further away from the train, however you can still hear the train eco through the valley. Take care, Robin
