You will pitch your tent in a green grassy area surrounded by trees with a communal roundhouse that we built to do your cooking . We have an old fashion outhouse and we can provide water from our fresh aqua-fer well. There is a fire pit and chairs and benches to sit around. At night you can hear our pair of barred owls hooting to each other. During the day you can go for a gorgeous hike 5 minutes from camp along the Hutchinsons creek and if you feel like swimming the south fork of the Nooksack river is just minutes away. If you don't feel like cooking there are 2 great diners close by and if you are a beer and pizza lover we are 20 minutes from the North Fork Brewery. The Acme General store that is over a 100 years old has just about everything you can think of and is only 5 minutes away. For the foodies in your group the Everybody's store is 15 minutes away and specializes in imported meats and cheeses along with cool items from local artisans. For amazing views of Mount Baker we are just an hour and half drive to Artist Point and Picture Lake. These are just a few of the great adventures you can do in the surrounding areas.

This site was incredible! The placement of the sites, along with the included amenities in the roundhouse and tent cabin made for a great experience. The hosts were very kind and have taken time to make sure this campsite is ready for a relaxing stay at the base of the beautiful cascades. Would definitely recommend!
It's wonderful for the rainy season!! We were so happy to build a fire and hang out altogether and be sheltered as opposed to pitching tents and getting into bed early because of the rain. The little round hit is perfect for hanging out together while it's raining and keeping warm! Linda was extremely kind and welcoming as well. Who knows, we might be back!
We enjoyed a very peaceful Memorial Weekend here mostly just laying around under a tree reading and having a fire each night. Grounds we extremely well kept and there was plenty of spots for both sun and shade. Outhouse and roundhouse photos on the website really don't do them justice to how tidy and really beautifully crafted they are. Absolutely would recommend and stay here again.
We stayed here memorial day weekend and had a wonderful time. The sites were great and there were even a couple great spots to string up our hammocks. The outhouse was so clean and the roundhouse/kitchen area is very impressive. The hosts were great and we will certainly be back in the future!
This is an amazing place. So beautiful, clean and full of nature. It is exactly what you think about when you think about hipcamp. The site has a great “common” area structure to cook, fire and chill so you can meet the rest of the people camping there (or not)
The site was great! easy to find and very well maintained.
The comunal roundhouse was great and very well built, fully stocked with firewood. she even left us some smores fixings, how cool is that?
I would definitely come back again.
We booked this beautiful site last minute and our hosts couldn’t have been more hospitable. They greeted us as we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience possible. The site was clean and only a 90 minute drive from Seattle. An excellent place to stay.
Wow. Tucked away in the hills of Acme, WA is this magical and giant backyard camping experience. Fresh raspberries, friendly dogs, and gracious hosts greeted us upon arrival. The space itself is expansive and tucked away. The outhouse is Instagram-able (which sounds odd, but it is.) The round house is the crown jewel and has most everything one needs to cook.
The attention to detail and commitment to vintage camping is fantastic. We spent the day at the local river and had ice cream at the diner. Baker is close by, but we didn’t get to visit this time. I guess we’ll have to stay here again soon. Highly recommended.
