⛺Are you looking for a place to Camp? We offer Tent Camping on our Farmstead in Lynden, WA. We are an excellent stopping off point if you want to explore Bellingham and hike Mt. Baker. You will have a fabulous view of the sweeping farmlands, the mountains, and from the property, you can see the top of Mt. Baker and all of the Twin Sisters.

The property is beautiful, and there are lovely places under trees to pitch your tent. We invite you to camp on our 117 Acre farm and try sleeping out in the country on our farmstead. We have a vast lawn, and there is a large grassy area that you can pitch your tent.

The space is near our house and other campers. Stay with us and have an experience like nothing you have had before. We invite you to roam the property and be sure to catch the beautiful sunsets.

You are more than welcome to take a great little walk in the raspberry fields and to go into the Barns to see the goats, pigs, and cows.

⭐Generators are ok, but out of respect, the other campers or tents, use is between 8 AM-9 PM.

⭐Quiet time is from 10 PM until 7 AM. Please use soft voices during this time.

⭐We are pet-friendly, Pets must be on a leash while on the property. Off-leash area available

⭐There is a shared porta-potty available, and every Thursday, it is cleaned professionally.

⭐A cold water double sink

👉The campground is a shared space with other Campers. There may be up to 5 RV’s on the property, especially weekends. See photo for campsites and my profile for the other listings.

🐔🐮🐷 Tours available to meet and greet the farm animal

Summer bookings bring more guests to the property, so you might meet other camping guests while walking around the farm. We have 3 tent sites and 5 RV sites. Plus our tiny house and Apartment.

There might be times that cars, trucks, or tractors will pass by the property during harvest season, the middle of July is when it will be the busiest. You may hear the Harvest Pickers going up and down the rows and work trucks with the Harvest leaving the property. Also know this is farm country, we are surrounded by working fields. We can not predict when the workers need to access the property, and we can not control what they need to do to take care of their crops.

Lisa was an awesome host and we really enjoyed our night on the farm. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful campsite just outside Lynden this is it. Lots of areas to pitch a tent, large fire pit area with chairs.

We enjoyed our night here! We choose Site 1, which is pretty close to the RV that is available for rental (so if you're looking to be isolated, this would not be your best bet). It's less than a minute walk to the fire ring, and wood (but not kindling or a lighter that we could see) was provided. Also less than a minute to the water and portapotty, which is nice. There is traffic noise from the nearby highway, but not much light pollution and we could see so many stars! Lisa was very available via messaging, and was able to provide us with a folding table for dinner prep, which was great. The cows are in close range too, so you may hear them occasionally and you'll smell them too, but you get used to it quickly! The ground is nice and flat, and the sunrise hits camp directly so it warmed up pretty quickly in the AM. Overall, it was a nice place to throw a tent down, Lisa was pleasant, and the location is good if you're looking to go explore nearby hikes and what not.

Lisa is a great host! She’s very welcoming, allowed our two young boys to pick strawberries from the patch next to the camp site and encouraged us to explore her farm. Campsite is flat, right next to water source, and about 100ft from port-a-potty. I’d definitely stay here again.

Lisa and her husband were excellent hosts. There was great attention to detail. Being able to pick fresh veggies from the garden and pick all the raspberries was amazing. We were given fresh eggs for our breakfast. Great stay.

We had a brief but fantastic stay at the Oostema farmstead! We booked a last minute one night stay and Lisa was incredibly accommodating. When we arrived we chose a cozy place to pitch our tent on her well-kept lawn just beside a beautiful bed of flowers. We met the cows and the chickens and even got to try a few raspberries as we watched the sunset over the fields. The portable toilet was well maintained/very clean and the outdoor sink was a very nice bonus as well. We would highly recommend a stay at this farmstead! Thanks Lisa!

Oostema Farm was great! We booked a last-minute stay a few days before as we were visiting the Mt. Baker area on a whim. Lisa was so nice and greeted us when we arrived. There were a few other campers on the yard as well, but it was big enough for all of the sites. As a bonus, it's a raspberry farm and you can taste-test :) So much fun!

My partner and I have been hearing about Hip Camp for a while and we finally decided to give it a shot.

So thrilled that we did. Lisa and her husbands were absolutely delightful and accommodating. Their jacuzzi is fantastic and they kindly allowed us to us their grill! I could not have hoped for a better experience. I will definitely be recommending to friends!
