Description
As the name suggests, Meadows Campground was indeed once drenched in Alpine meadows. Currently open and accessible, one can still see the effects from the past--the Needles Wildfire of 2003. Open July through October, these first-come, first-served sites see only light traffic. With access to the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and tent-only, this site might be best for PCT hikers, or those looking to try a little PCT of their own.
