*Bathhouse is almost done! But, you can definitely take a hot bath now. There is a shared porta potty for your use outside the bathhouse.*
To begin, I would like to mention this farm believes Black Lives Matter, magic is real and we are LGBTQ+ allies.

Nestled in Greenbank Washington on Whidbey Island. Our 15 acre farm is just starting out...
Seasonal fruit like Blackberries, Cherries, Apples and Salmon Berries are in abundance between July-September. Lots of wildlife roam our open fields and wooded surroundings. Bald Eagles, Red Tail Hawks and Barn Swallows fly over head while Quail and their little babies run around the property. We are visited by many deer and the occasional coyote (they are afraid of us, so you don't have to worry about them hanging around).
We are a family with 3 kids, Grandma and a best friend living on the land, so you may see us working the field, building a structure or just laying in the stargazing hammock circle. We have no problem giving you space or you can come hang out, we love meeting new people and have tons of tips about Whidbey. (Like, the blueberry stand in Freeland, Mutiny Bay Blues, is DELICIOUS. We can let you know if the stand is open and where it is or you can find them on Instagram.)
Fern Gully is 2 minutes from amazing sandwiches and cold Topo Chico (sparkling mineral water) or a bottle of wine at Greenbank Pantry.
It’s a 6 minute drive to South Whidbey State Park, there you'll find great hiking along the coast.
Just 5 minutes to Lagoon Point County Park where you can fish and watch for whales.
The always awesome, Greenbank Farm is 4 minutes up WA-525, there you can find Whidbey Pies, food, wine, cheese, art and great hiking trails with fantastic views of the Puget Sound, as well as a large off leash dog park.
Campsite #1 is located between one of our grazing pastures and the Alder woods. This campsite is an easy spot to pitch a tent and has enough parking for 2 cars. Enjoy the plethora of seasonal wild berries and watch the deer stroll through at this site.
Campsite #2 is hugging the edge of the towering Evergreen forest, but is just enough outside of the tree line that you can enjoy the sun and look over the farmhouse and land. There are plenty of native Pie Berries and Salmon Berries during early summer months and large blackberries later in the summer.
Campsite #3 is in a private and peaceful untouched forest setting. Rest among the moss and birds in over an acre of beautifully wooded land. The walk in does have a small hill down and back up, but nothing intense. At this campsite you are most likely to see Great Horned Owls or other forest dwelling friends
Campsite #4 is very private and separated from sites 2 and 3 by forest and a gully. If you have a small car that doesn't handle a grass hill, you may want to park and hike up to your site. It's about 200 ft of uphill hike to a flat forest at the top. This site is tucked into some gorgeous woods, back aways from an overgrown pasture. This site is pretty far from the Porta-Potty, water spigot and bathhouse (soaking tub)
Campsite #5 (also known as Alphabet forrest) Welcome to the newest addition to Fern Gully! Car campers beware, there is about a 100 yard walk in to this site, it's not a hard walkthrough but it is uneven ground in some places. Site is very private and a bit further away from the Porta-Potty, water spigot and bathhouse (soaking tub) than sites 1-3.
Also, if you are looking for some, on the water, fun check out Whidbey Island Boats and Boards at Wibb .us (i can't write out the entire website, so just omit the space) You can rent kayaks or paddle boards. You pick the location and they deliver!

If you're in the mood to "rough it" a bit then this place is great. The hosts have given a great twist to creature comforts finds natures campouts. We joined them for a group camp fire under the stars. Insightful life conversations and comedic laughter. Although fairly new to Hipcamp this ine will surely become a winner as they grow.
Thank you Morgan, Katie and family for the wonderful hassle-free camping experience.
Fern Gully is an absolute paradise for nature lovers! The location is so beautiful and has a bit of everything. There were multiple campsites to choose from, all containing their own unique features, from a secluded woodland site to an open level site perfect for RVs. We loved exploring the hiking paths and collecting the rare and coveted native blackberries that made for fantastic hand pies the following morning for breakfast. The owners have converted the old horse stables to truly unique places; a saloon belonging to the resident extremely friendly barn cat and a beautiful open air bath house where you can soak in a hot bath while watching the barn swallows swoop in to feed their babies nesting right above you. The pets on the property were so sweet and we couldn't get enough playtime in with their Bernese Mountain dog Socrates and their two new baby kittens. We truly can't recommend this peaceful place enough!

The pictures are AMAZING y’all! The hand pies were to die for. Yum! We loved having y’all. Thank you for the nice words. Come back anytime!
Fern Gully was awesome! Everyone was super friendly, and our spot was great. Lots of options for places to camp on the property, and we really appreciated all of the amenities that come with it—firewood, water, bath house, etc. Definitely recommend staying here! Very central on Whidbey Island so it was really convenient as a base camp to explore. And incredibly scenic. We camped for 3 nights with our Bernese mountain dog and had a blast!

We are so glad that you all enjoyed your stay. Our pup was sure happy to meet one of his favorite Instagram celebs ⭐️
Really chill place to camp and relax! Morgan and Katie were really friendly and welcomed our group when we got there. The property is really big and each camp site is quite a bit apart so you really can't hear or see anyone and feel like you are in your own cozy home. They have fresh well water and portable toilets for those you like to rough it a bit :) They even supplied us with firewood! We had campsite #3 and it had a beautiful view of the whole property!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful campsites! We very much enjoyed our stay in this tranquil and private setting on Whidbey Island!

We loved having you guys! So happy you enjoyed your time on the farm. Come back anytime!
Morgan's land was beautiful and serene. The camping sites felt very private. We felt extremely welcomed and cared for. We look foward to returning!

You guys are wonderful. We are so pleased y'all picked our farm! We hope y'all come back!
What a wonderful stay! Easy to find, and a great little farm with everything you need, including wild berries everywhere. Several deer sightings, and once a snake! The hosts were wonderful, and in the evening we all gathered around the communal firepit to roast marshmallows and cuddle kittens. There is also an incredibly floofy bernese mountain dog named Socks who loves attention

Julie, we absolutely loved having you guys. I'm so happy y'all hung out at the fire, it made for a wonderful evening. We hope you both come back soon!!
Morgan was great! Her and her friend took the time to show us around their beautiful property. It was a sweet place to stay, and they have some exciting plans in the works.

Thanks for carving out a new trail with us :) Come back anytime.
This was our first Hipcamp experience so we didn't quite know what to expect, compared to camping at a national park or forest. Overall we had a good time; the hosts were very friendly and laid back and the site was a nice farm just like the pictures. The camping spot we got was more private than a typical park campground, but at the same time it definitely felt like a farm and not a forest - not good or bad, just different.
A highlight was that the neighboring farm's kids were playing outside and invited our 4 year old to play along. They had a great time together!

Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the farm. The kids had a great time playing with yours.
