Great site, easy to get to
We showed up late at night and had to leave the next morning - which was a shame because the Hipcamp was on a beautiful piece of land , with amenities and some friendly four legged friends! Hope to visit this Hipcamp again.
Should only be summer rental
The owners should not be rentung this time of year. They did not allow me to use any of the campground and were unavailable except for initial arrival when they said to park in first car space in driveway and that if I wanted electric to my rig it was 150' away on roadside edge of property with nowhere to park except where they left me. Meadow ground was unstable and grass area which would have worked well was blocked by owners truck the entire 2 night stay. Only address was mailbox 2 properties before the actual entry.
It was very beautiful there, really is a beautiful meadow to enjoy. It is lush with grass and has some little pokies on the ground, but they don’t disturb you much. The hosts were incredibly kind and helped us bring our things to the site. The birds start bright and early but it’s honestly a really nice way to wake up!! Overall a great experience.
I really enjoyed staying at MMC. We spent a great time camping with my family. The spot we picked was awesome, the area is so quiet so you can have a really deep sleep or just relax. Hipcampers were so nice and polite, showed us everything we need and more. I highly recommend you to stay with your family at HipCamp, you will really enjoy it.
We were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful setting so close to downtown and felt at home amongst the homestead in progress. Our pup enjoyed exploring the clearing & wilderness as we sat by a fire together on makeshift stools watching the sunset. If we end up in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Lots of space between sites great fire pit and lots of wood at your disposal.
Upon arrival I was a little skeptical but when one of the hosts greeted me and showed me around I was very pleased. The hip camp is in its infancy but I’m sure as time goes on the hosts will continue to clear land and continue to make your stay pleasant .
I’m a light sleeper so the only unpleasant part of my stay was street noise.the street isn’t even close to the property but sound travels other than that it was beautiful .
