Medley Woods Retreat was beyond beautiful! Very secluded and surrounded by lush greenery. The outhouse is super clean/ conveniently equipped with a couple camping tables, water and fire starters. This site is DEFINITELY immersed in the wild. We saw beautiful deer and on the tad scarier side, we heard a bear at night and ended up quickly moving to sleep in the car. Part of the package of camping in nature! Would absolutely stay here again. I would note to bring your own firewood if it has been particularly rainy or has rained recently as all nearby wood was very damp. Good thing we were prepared!
This camp is exactly what we wanted for our trip. The scenery was beautiful and it was just as private/isolated as described. It was such a nice feeling to set up camp knowing nobody else would be around. And the amenities are very clean and well stocked, which was a great touch.
Also the location is spot on, with plenty to do within a pretty short driving distance. I'm already thinking of coming back here to camp in the future!
Alright y’all, this place is amazing. I’ve been to almost a dozen Hipcamp a and this has been one of my favorites.
First, there’s one campsite! You get your own private campsite on a large beautiful property with your own fire pit. The bathroom is as clean as the one you have at home. There are also so many little small touches that added to the experience like an extra folding table and bench.
Michelle and I communicated via the app and didn’t have to see each other in person in order to access the property. Very important to me during covid times.
It’s the perfect place to stay for a weekend on the hood canal. Would %100 stay there again. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS PLACE.
Beautiful and private! I was surprised to see so many flowers still in bloom in late summer. By the fire pit there’s not much shade, so make sure to bring sunscreen (although the host has a fairly stocked first aid/ toiletries in the outhouse).
We were very comfortable and I’d return. Thanks!
The land is extremely private and quiet. A very rough road in and out.
If you are looking for seclusion and a place for children and dogs to roam free, this is your place.
Michelle the host was very gracious.
Private camp site
This is a great little primitive camping spot. Very private, clean kept tent pads and a nice fire place. The outhouse was well supplied with bug spray, sunscreen, TP, and a trash can.
