Megan and her husband were so sweet - great communicators from the start. There are TWO entrances into Mended Meadows Farm, so don't worry, both work! Megan made signs letting us know that we were on the right track. We got to play with her baby goats (so cute!!!) and meet the livestock. We were free to choose the spot to set up, and we photographed all sorts of options; shaded trees, or in the massive field with views for miles upon miles. Highly recommend for the safe dwelling and beauty of this space.
Megan was so kind and available to answer all our questions. Upon arrival she brought us some farm fresh apples from her apple trees. It was the kindest welcome ever. She showed us where we can set up and then let us get set up. The camp site itself was stunning. The view, the quiet meadows were just gorgeous. Finally it drizzled ran that night, it was so soothing and the best sleep i have ever had in a tent!! Thank you Megan:)
Megan greeted us as we entered her property and recommended a camping spot for us and our tiny trailer. It was perfect! She spent time showing us the farm including the dwarf goats. They are so cute. A nice, peaceful spot to enjoy the sunset and the moonrise. It was a great way to get away from the noise and commotion, just a half hour drive from Portland. I look forward to going back again!
