Mark and Laurie are AWESOME! They greeted us with the sweetest welcome packet and a bag of…you guessed it, a s’mores kit. What’’s better?! They gave us a brief tour of their sites, in which all three were suitable for anyone. One is a close-to-your car site, for those late nights driving and you need a place to crash; another is more primitive, and yet another that is quiet and fully off the grid! All are outfitted with a fire ring and privacy. We loved hearing their story about how they ran a Christmas Tree farm next door. Lots of nearby hiking and trails to wander as well! Awesome spot!

Everyone in our group kept talking about wanting to come back. The privacy was amazing. The family that owned the site couldn't have been nicer. The value we got for our dollar was way more than we expected.

The campsite was beautiful and huge. There was a fire pit, cute bespoke benches, and even cornhole for us to play! Mark & Laurie were so thoughtful and provided water, camping toilets, roasting sticks, a s’mores kit, and camp chairs! It was the first time my British husband had even eaten s’mores and now he can’t stop, which is hilarious. We definitely enjoyed taking walks around the property. The only things that are missing are a table, which Mark said he was going to make (awesome) and a grill for the fire pit. Altogether, it was a wonderful weekend and we would happily come back and stay again.

By the way, you can easily access some of the freshest and best oysters in the world from here as well as the cutest and most charming old towns!

Cornhole was fun! Hwy 101's Camp Coffee RetreatNora the pup had a great time and it was remote enough that she could safely be off leash! So much firewood provided by the hosts!

The “beach” site was very secluded and had nice view. The camp had great amenities provided by mark and Laurie like a private fire pit, firewood, a table and log seats! We were well taken care of and had an awesome stay!

Great spot for camping. We were at the "beach" site and enjoyed privacy, our fire pit and all the amenities the hosts provided (lugaloo, firewood, s'mores, and even a garbage can). The location is also close to the coast for exploring the area.

Mark was an excellent communicator, and was on-site to ensure I knew where to park for the campsite. He showed me around the site and gave me the welcome kit, which was a bag of s'mores ingredients. What a great touch! The site was very private and is one of the best set ups I have yet experienced. Thank you Mark and Laurie, I will be back!

We had such a great time staying at Camp Coffee! Mark & Laurie were great hosts: they were helpful and responsive, and the campsite was just as described.
There are three sites. The first is a wooded spot right off of a backroad for easy access from the car. The second is tucked into the woods, up a dirt road. The last is in a clearing, which looks out on a little pond. The dirt road to the second and third spots would likely require a truck to navigate (our little Subaru couldn't make it). Fortunately most of our gear was in our packs, so we were able to hike in with no problem. That said, you'll probably want to either pack light, bring a truck, or choose the spot closest to the road. We were the only campers this weekend, but privacy should be no problem with others around, as all three spots are spread out. Each campsite is equipped with a fire pit and two cute log benches.
We chose the spot by the pond, and it was so beautiful and peaceful! We could hear a dog and a party held by a distant neighbor, but the noise was reasonable and we had no trouble sleeping. We made a fire with the wood Mark & Laurie supplied, and s'mores with the kit they gifted us. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and we look forward to our next visit to Camp Coffee.

We definitely had a fantastic weekend camping at Camp Coffee and I would recommend it for everyone!

To begin with, Mark and Laurie were awesome hosts. They were very communicative before hand and made sure we knew what was going on. Laurie even met us in town (at the Pitchwood Alehouse, great atmosphere/cool restaurant) on our way in so that we could follow her to the site. Totally unnecessary, as finding the site was very easy, but just indicative of how friendly, welcoming, and accommodating the hosts were.

The site itself was really nice. There is a large main campsite area with a firepit just up a small hill from the main road. Easy walk up the hill, but every one of our SUVs were able to make it up the hill without any trouble. I drive a Subaru Crosstrek and that made it up the hill no problem. The only car we didn't attempt to get up the hill was a Prius.
At the top of the hill, there was more than enough space for our 7 tents, plus a bunch of tarps and canopies (it was a bit rainy our weekend). Then if you walk down the path from the upper camping area, maybe a 3-4 minute walk, there is another camping area right next to the creek. The creek-side camping area was mowed grass, easily had room for another 5 or 6 tents, and had a nice fire pit. All in all the site was fantastic and had plenty of room for our large group.
Be advised that there is not a table at the site, so you would probably benefit from bringing a fold-able table if possible.
We rented both the upper and lower sites, to ensure maximum privacy. We stayed up late every night and made a fair bit of noise playing games, so I was glad to have the extra room but that probably wasn't necessary as the lower site was fairly removed from the upper site.

Mark and Laurie had plenty of fire wood available for our use, spread out among the various fire pits. They provided us with some extra drinking water and a smores kit for everyone. They also had a cornhole set and weenie-roasting sticks available for our use. So much fun!

The only thing that I would advise future campers of is the toilet. It was certainly more primitive than I expected. In essence it was a 5-gallon bucket with a compostable liner, peat moss, and toilet seat on it. Really, it did not negatively impact any of my groups trip (though some of the less experienced campers opted to drive the 5 minutes to McDonalds and use their facilities instead), just was not what I was expecting.

All in all the trip and site were fantastic; I would definitely wholeheartedly recommend this site to anyone (especially now that you are aware of the toilet situation), and would definitely return.

First time using hipcamp and had a great experience. Laurie and Mark allowed us to be flexible with the number of people going which was much appreciated. The communication was great on the day of arrival and Mark met us to give us a tour. The site was great and the firewood being provided was the best. The only critique I have is we could hear the cars from the main road if we didn't have music on.
