Mark and Laurie were great hosts!
The forest in the area was lush and shady. The site at the top of the hill was spacious. At night hwy 101 quiets down and it is completely silent and pitch black. The sight at the bottom of the hill was quaint and private with a small grassy area and a creek; however, there is no creek access at this time. During the day, this sight had full sun and was good for sun bathing. The property is pretty and well taken care of.
Mark and Laurie were out of town so I met with their son Mitch. We had an unfortunate situation but Mitch wonderful. Mark stopped by to check on us the next day which was really appreciated.

what a champ campground!
My son and I had our blast time during our staying for two nights. We enjoyed our campfire alone without other campers. It was pretty quiet and peaceful! We will love to go back again. I give five stars!

Fun Small Town Camping Trip
Mark and Laurie were amazing hosts with a s’mores treat and firewood ready at the campsite when we arrived. They provided great communication anytime we had questions and even advised we attend the Willapa Festival which had great live music and some yummy food vendors.
The camp site was beautiful and spacious! You can tell they put a lot of work into this area as it was well leveled for tent locations and not a spot of trash. The location is great as we felt secluded in the trees even though you are only 5 minutes from town. We had a group of 7 and there was room for several tents and an eating area. There was no one staying at the neighboring camp sites so there was plenty of space to walk around and explore the full woodland space and water area.

Mark&Laurie greeted us upon our arrival to showed us their lovely property and all it had to offer. It’s an intimate space and you truly do have it all to yourself! They even prepared a yummy s’mores kit that we thoroughly enjoyed! You’re a close drive into the town of Raymond where you can enjoy a warm meal and cold brew! Would definitely recommend!

Great primitive site, bring a few
The only issue we had was identifying the entrance (look for a small orange marker on a wooden stake and yes, yes, your car CAN fit up the path. Promise!). There’s a great foot/bike/horse path for hiking down the road about a quarter mile and some truly stunning scenery if you explore the area. It’s a primitive site, so come prepared for that. Our hosts met us at the site and helped us to get settled in. We fit six tents comfortably in the upper site, mostly by setting them up on the path away from the site. There’s a small canvas table there, but the biggest thing we missed was a picnic table. We made a makeshift table for cooking and luckily one friend brought a small camping table. Overall, great experience! Oh, it did rain while we were there, but the camping is all under a y’all tree canopy, so it wasn’t a big deal at all.

Nice place. We had some rain so it was nice there was some tree cover overhead. Tons of firewood provided. Quiet, didn't hear anyone. Would recommend.
